So when I came on minecraft this morning it said 1.8 had come out, YAY!
But, when I press play, it downloads the 1.8 file then goes back to the play button. I keep clicking the play button, but it just installs different things, and I can never actually run it. I just installed the JAVA SE 6 runtime or whatever. I'm on mac by the way
I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and I'm running a 64 bit on it but I continue to get from 5-15 fps compared to my friend on an OLD desktop who was getting 60+. How can I increase my minecraft fps?
Changing pictures in Minecraft?
Added (1). I would like to change the paintings in my Minecraft game. I have followed the %appdata and found the minecraft folder but I can't find the folder inside that to change the pictures. Is there another way around this?
My son tried to setup a Paypal account, I can trust him, and when we tried to use his bank account number there was an error. Could it be that he was using a matching name as his bank account? Or is it that he has an account for minors?
He wants to use Paypal so he can get payed. He has more than $100 from some Minecraft thing he made when people clicked on the link to download it. He can't get the money because he doesn't have a Paypal Account.

I have a dilemma. One of my favorite games of all time, Mario Kart 8, has DLC coming out for it in may. But, I have heard of the game, Shovel knight, and it seems to be a masterpiece. Every reviewer I've seen gave it a perfect score, and it also seems to feature gameplay to one of my other favorite games of all time, Zelda 2. The problem is, I can only afford one of them. Should I buy shovel knight now or should I wait for the DLC? Also, I have both a wii you and 3ds, so If I choose shovel knight, which platform should I play it on?
