Acer Aspire Windows 7 No Bootable Device Error?

I have the Acer Aspire laptop with Windows 7. Yesterday, I was having some issues with it, like Google Chrome wouldn't open, neither would Internet Explorer. My computer froze, so I shut it down and turned it on about three minutes later. Then I got an error.

"Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 038)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Atheros PCI Ethernet Controller v2.0.2.7 (11/02/10)

Check cable connection!
PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key"

I do not know what happened and I have no idea what any of this means. If I press a key, the same error shows up again. If I hit F2, it brings me to the "InsydeH2O Setup Utility". I go to the "Boot" tab, and the priority order is

1. HDDO:
2. ATAPI CDROM: Slimtype DVD A DS8A5SH
3. USB FDD:
4. Network boot: Atheros Boot Agent
5. USB HDD
6. USB CDROM

I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I don't know what this will do to my computer. I don't want to lose everything I have on here. Skyrim, Sims 3, Minecraft, all of my pictures, everything. Would I lose it all or what? Someone just please help. I don't have anyone around to help, and if I had the money to pay for help, I wouldn't even have this computer, I'd have a gaming PC. So all your help is very much appreciated, but try to keep it simple with instructions on what to do.

Shouldn't this be able to Handle Minecraft/COD: BO2 Without laggin?

Graphics Card: AMD RADEON HD 6410D
Processor: AMD A4-3420 APU
Memory: 4GB
System-Type: 64bit.

How would I upgrade it so it doesn't lag? Like Get a new graphics card? Or a new Processor? Or more Memory? Please & Thank you.

Added (1). Dota 2 even Lags.

Do you consider it normal to change your mind about video games?

I'm 20 and ever since 2008 or 2010 I have wanted to become a game designer. I was inspired by indie games like minecraft and so on and ever since then I wanted a career in video games. I did my senior project on the history of video games. I wanted to be my own indie game deceloper but when I was in college I recived a lot of negative attention from teachers who disproved of video games by telling me they were a waste of time or that games were bad. I was very depressed for a while trying to solve why people stil in 2014 would still be against video games. I then posted a thread on another board saying "I gave up on video games" while earlier I asked a thread why "people still badmouth video games?" I soon became very unhappy and miserable about the fact I did that. I still loved video games and want to get into them. But I don't understand why people still dislike video games. I have noticed that older people have always feared new media and everything from writing to video games were viewed as a threat. Heck, I've noticed that even watching television is more respected than playing video games is now. I'm still hoping that I can be an indie game designer sometimes when I'm an adult but I'm kind of haunted by the posts I made so i'm trying to remove them. Is it possible that I could love games, then demonize them, then want to bet a career in them?
