Good gaming PCs for under 1200?

Looking for a very good gaming pc for under $1200 for the whole setup. I'm not talking about the big desktop computer that is coming back in to society for some reason, just an open close laptop that I can carry around with me.

I have an HP laptop that basically sucks. It's never been able to play or load up games correctly, it's very slow and unreliable. Need one that'll start up and run any game at a quick speed.

Mostly, I just play The Sims 3, and it runs ok with it, but with games like minecraft it is slow as a turtle, with lagging and sometimes just shutting down.

I've been out of computers for a couple years so I forgot all the good brands and whatnot.

So what's out there that's any good? Appreciate any help.

Game like Minecraft/Rust but more PvE based?

Game like Minecraft/Rust but more PvE based?

Added (1). It's like minecraft or rust. Where you go out during the day. Get supplies. And you can build a fortress with said supplies to survive the night. I remember somebody i think it was epic games was making something like this but i can't remember

anyone got anything like this or similar? I'd love for it to be open world. Basically just like rust in terms of world and gathering only it's more of an FPS/base defense game at night

Great Games Like MineCraft?

I'm looking for some great games, preferably something like MineCraft with different classes such as mage… Etc…
I don't mind to download them, as long as they have no viruses or bugs.

Whihc processor is better for streaming and playing minecraft at the same time?

Just wondering what the question says.

Processor 1: AMD A10-6700 APU 3.7Ghz

Processor 2: AMD APU A10 6800K Black Edition Quad Core Processor Socket FM2, 4.1GHz, 4MB

i'm a processor noob so yeah. I currently run with processor one, and it does the job, but sometimes drops frames, so looking to get a better one, wondering if processor 2 is faster or not, thanks alot.

I can't log into minecraft? - 1

I can't log into minecraft?!

Added (1). I restarted my whole computer because it had a virus and i was redownloading my program and i downloaded minecraft. When i try to log into minecraft, after i type my email/username and password, the green bar keeps going on forever until it says (SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out) i tried to restart my computer, redownload minecraft, add minecraft to my firewall, and unblock it, and restart my router and watched many videos on youtube to fix it, but i still can't log in! I'm desperate!

Resolution or FPS? Please choose?

I'm planning on recording some minecraft soon, but my computer can only record 1080p (Full HD) at 30fps, but if scaled down to 720p, it runs at a steady 60. Since now all big youtubers record their games in 60fps, I feel pressured to also do so, but it comes at such a cost to the actual video quality. What would you prefer to watch, 30fps at 1080, or 60fps at 720?

Can I run Minecraft Shaders smoothly with these computer specs?
