How to install mods for Minecraft?

I have Forge installed. I've been trying to install shaders and Pixelmon. Long story short, I have no clue what i'm doing at all. Please help? I have a skype if you want to talk me through steps.

What are good Minecraft 1.6.4 Mods that use forge?

Ones that involve technology like Tekkit with quarrys and machines, also ones that have new ores. But any mods you can leave will be helpful.

What computer to get to record minecraft gameplay?

I'm starting a youtube channel and a lot of people like minecraft so i was thinking of recording gameplay, so i need a new computer as mine has just broken, what do you think will be suitable? I was thinking of having it on ultra… And also i'm going to be using mods

Too many items mod not working?

So i downloaded the mod for Minecraft "Too MAny Items". I dragged it into my mod folder and started playing minecraft on Forge. It loads up, and the screen where it says "Mojang" appears. A couple seconds later, it goes away amd tells me my minecraft has just crashed becaause of Too Many Items. I tried everything, and its not like its happening for every mod. I have other mods installed that aren't giving me the same problem, just TMI. Anyone know the problem?

Minecraft Attack of the B-team Witchery Mod, Coven issues?

Hi, I have been playing b-team for quite a while and have got my sights now set on acquiring a coven for advanced rites and spells. I think I have done everything that is needed. I have a seer stone, but when I click on the witches they tell me " You are not skilled in the arts" or " Why do you waste my time?" If anyone knows something I'm missing please tell me, I a really eager to get a full coven.

How to change minecraft 1.7.4 client into the 1.7.2 client?

I want to turn the 1.7.4 into 1.7.2 client so I can use mods, because a lot of them haven't updated yet, I accidentally updated and don't know how to turn it back to 1.7.2, is there a download of the 1.7.2 game to replace in a folder, I remember being able to do that, but can't find any 1.7.2 files

Why doesn't my minecraft have an edit profile button on the launch screen?

I'm trying to mod my minecraft and I want to download forge modloader. I'm still new to minecraft and I'm completely confused as to how everyone has and "edit profile" button on the minecraft launch screen, but I don't.

I want to learn how to code for minecraft forge mods. I want to make a homestuck mod and have it be successful, i know someone who can model and texture but he can't code so i need to learn how to code myself. I have already looked at two minecraft forum posts that made no sense to me. Id like a reply with suggestions as soon as possible.
