The games i would like to play are minecraft, left for dead 1&2, unreal tournement, GTA iv, world of war craft, call of duty b ops 2, garrys mod, arma 2 (dayZmod as well) and arma 3. Thanks btw i can play arma 2 on my dads non gaming computer and that was 400 and its not a good computer so don't say you need a £2000 computer to play it lol.
I have Minecraft 1.7.5. I'm trying to download a mod called the Twilight Forest, it seems to be a pretty popular mod and I have done scans on it and the files are safe. Now this is where I get lost. I have watched several different youtube tutorials and read a few wikihows on how to successfully download and install mods but no matter how many times I try to it does not work.
The last video I watched told me that downloading mods for 1.7.5 is the same as 1.6.1 or higher, but I do not think that is correct, I followed the steps correctly as shown in the video and the results seemed to be the same as the video tutorial, BUT when I went into the world nothing happened, the mod didn't work. I didn't even get a glitch or a crash like I was expecting.
I'm using WinRAR to transfer the files like everyone else says to do, I do have the real version of Minecraft that I paid for, so no bootlegging was done (that also means I have the required forge 10.12.32blahblahblah). I realize that mods are not supported by the creators of the game and they may cause issues for me later on, but this is very important. I have no explanation for my desire to play in this crazy new Minecraft dimension, but if anyone out there can give me a hand please, please, please respond to this.

I looked up on YouTube how to download mc mods. But the only thing that came up was how to install mods. So how do you download a mod from a page/site. I tried but i don't know what site to use because I have never downloaded a mod before.
I want to play minecraft smoothly, with no lag, with mods and also play servers. Will it be able to play it?
I was thinking of buying gta iv for my computer but i'm scared it might lag allot as most games do on my computer. Here is a list of games I have that work fine on my computer (40-60 fps): minecraft, wow, team fortress 2, loadout, dungeon defenders, surgeon simulator, Garry's mod, dishonored, the elder scrolls v skyrim, fallout 3, flatout 2, and portal 2. Games I have tried that DON't work well on my computer (0-30 fps): the whole alan wake series, saints row 3, just cause 2 (sometimes lags, sometimes doesn't), and next car game.

I have tried wands and downloading spc mod but they don't work for me. Is there a way to make an area unbreakable?

I have the completely legit, bought version of Minecraft. It is updated to 1.7.5 and has been working perfectly up until now. I do not have mods but I have texture packs.
Here's what happens: when I open minecraft.app the launcher works without any problems. It opens the game. It displays the 'MOJANG' logo when opened as it normally does, but where it would normally open to the title screen, it turns my computer to a completely unresponsive, black screen. My mouse will move across this screen but I can't get off it in any way.
There are no error messages or crash reports in the.minecraft files. I haven't used any files other than texture packs and they are all in the correct folder.
I'm running Mac OS X version 10.5.8. My 'About This Mac' says:

Okay, so I created a Minecraft world and I built heaps of thing. I have the Mo Creatures Mod, Too Many Items and some other things required to run those mods, so 6 mods in total. Everytime I open the world, it crashes and I think it has something to do with the kitty bed… I can post the crash report if needed.
I'v seen many youtubers doing it, like they are pressing something and the viev zooms a bit and then its gets back normal again. What's the button or is it a mod?
I'm making a city map in Minecraft and I want hostile mobs (ex. Zombies, skeletons, creepers) for players to battle. I don't want passive mobs (ex. Pigs, cows, sheep) to be walking around being annoying like they are. They only get in the way and don't help my build look very much like a city. I need some kind of command to prevent them from spawning naturally on my grass. (NO MODS Please) I will not get rid of any grass.
Added (1). I want hostile mobs to spawn naturally at night. That's why I'm not using /gamerule doMobSpawning false.
