Minecraft Mod Help: TOBUSCUS MODS?

Anyone know a modpack or jar file with the mods that tobuscus uses? I tried to make my own but I get errors and errors and errors and errors and errors and errors I look how to fix them and i get nothing. SO… Anyone? Eh? Modpack? Jar file? Which is better for learning objective-C and iOS development?

I want to learn how to program in iOS over the summer. I've seemed to have narrowed down my choice for which course to take between Lynda and Treehouse. Both offer and introduction to objective-C(which I have never learned before) as well as several example apps and projects. Both offer example files and are based on online video lectures.

So my question is which is better for me Lynda or Treehouse? I'm going to finish the second-level Computer Science class at my high school. I'm fairly proficient in Java and have written several mediocre programs as well as a small Minecraft mod. Please consider my experience and the fact that I'm willing to pay any amount and spend as much time as necessary when making recommendations.

Looking for a Casual gaming pc?

I'm a casual pc gamer but I'm currently playing on a Mac which can't handle the games I play. I'm looking for a new desktop pc. Again, I'm very casual mostly play Minecraft and Gary's mod. I want something that can handle these games relatively smoothly at moderate to high fps. I really don't need a crazy hardcore computer. If possible, I would like to stay on the lowest price range possible. Any help or feedback is appreciated.

Trouble modding minecraft?

I can't seem to be able to mod minecraft with any mod on any version. I've literally tried ever tutorial and video I could find. I've downloaded every version of forge. I've tried magic launcher. I just can't figure out how to do it. I'll follow the instructions to the T every time and when I login nothing changed. My mods didn't load. I've been trying for 3 days. Someone please help me out.

To those of you who are viewing this.

I know the title I gave for my question was very general, but I did not want to crowd the title by asking a very long question, so here is my whole question:

Which type of computer would you suggest for me if:
1. I want to use the computer for college,

2. I want to use the computer for software development (which is what I would like to go to college for),

3. I want to use the computer for video game development (which is the other contending candidate for what I would like to go to college for):
a) I have a program called Gamemaker that I use to make games,

4. I would like to play games, but not the intense, high end games. If the laptop can handle those types of games, then great, but I'm talking more about Minecraft and such,
(I want especially to be able to play Minecraft, as I'm hoping to be able to create mods for it some day),

5. I don't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money (preferably not over $1000, and at the very most, not over $1500),

6. I'm not too concerned about the size.

I'm not completely stupid when it comes to computers. I know a fair amount about them, but the problem is, there are so many, and each one has so many different options, and besides that, many are not compatible with certain things as other ones are.
If possible, I would like to get a Windows 7 as that is what my desktop is, and I really like it.
