How to change minecraft 1.7.4 client into the 1.7.2 client?

I want to turn the 1.7.4 into 1.7.2 client so I can use mods, because a lot of them haven't updated yet, I accidentally updated and don't know how to turn it back to 1.7.2, is there a download of the 1.7.2 game to replace in a folder, I remember being able to do that, but can't find any 1.7.2 files

First, open the launcher for minecraft, then click edit profile in the bottom left, then a box should appear, look for "Use Version" click that then find "release 1.7.2" click save profile, and then click play!
