Will minecraft run good on bad PC?

I currently have a really godawful acer laptop and I want to get minecraft with shaders mod and some other texture packs. Will minecraft run good?

Minecraft forge how to turn mods on and off?

I have pixelmon, and want to try the tale of kings mod (I think thats what it is called.) I want to turn pixelmon off, and turn the tale of kings mod on. When I'm done with the tale of kings mod, I want to turn it off and turn pixelmon back on, and be able to continue from where I left off with pixelmon. How can I do this?

Added (1). Replace tale of kings with "Tale Of Kingdoms"

Added (2). Is there an easier way?

How do minecraft mods work?

I know what mods are but how do you install them? Do they cost money? I'm specifically talking about pixelmon, where do I download it from? How do I install it into my game? And how do I use it? (A link to a video would be most helpful)

Mods won't work on Minecraft?

So I've tried to install mods onto Minecraft many times- yet they have never worked. I have the official paid Minecraft, and a Windows 7 computer tower that's around 2 years old.
I follow the instructions as best as I can- and yes, I deleted the META-INF folder.
After I install the mod and all that stuff, I open my Minecraft and it works perfectly, yet there are no mods in game. It works as if nothing has been modified.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

What is the mod TobyGames uses in Minecraft season 3?

In the majority of Minecraft season 3, he uses this one mod (I'm not good with Minecraft, so there's a possibility that I'm wrong about all of this, it may not even be a mod - hell, I might even be calling it the wrong thing), and I want to know what it is.
It's snowy, it has all these mountains and tons and tons of jewels and ore and things. Like I said, I'm horrid at Minecraft (hence why I watch other people play it), so please correct me if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

Major lag spikes in Minecraft

My computer is really good I have 8gb of ram, 64 bit processor, I'm playing Attack of the B-Team (technic pack) and I added optifine mod to the pack and did everything I could to make it faster and the picture is the result. Still major lag spike. I tried re-downloading everything, even Java. I don't know what to do. Someone help please?

Minecraft Forge with no minecraft.jar on Mac?

I'm trying to download Minecraft Forge on my Mac and I'm having problems.

1. There's no 'minecraft.jar' folder.
2. If I type in '~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft/bin' or anything like it into my finder nothing comes up. I don't even think I have a Library folder.

There's a folder just called 'minecraft' with 2 other folders inside called 'client' and 'server' but no 'minecraft.jar' and from what I have seen, that is what you need. I tried creating a folder but it didn/t work.

I have minecraft 1.7.5 and my Mac is OS X 10.9. I really want to get mods, but I can't do that without forge. Can someone help?

I can't download minecraft? - 1

So, I want minecraft. Really! I have watched so many mod showcases and I just want it so bad! I've already bought the game but here's the thing: when I click on the button that should let me run and download it, NOTHING HAPPENS! Can someone please help me out? My computer brand is a TOSHIBA windows 7 (I think, I'm just typing what's on the computer) Thank you guys!
