What has happened to my Minecraft?

Okay, I so logged into Minecraft and found that the whole world looked like this:

It is not the texture pack as I have tried using several different ones and it does the same thing. Also, while Minecraft is running, the icon in the task bar is not the normal crafting bench, but it is this:

I have a few mods installed, and when I run a version without mods, Minecraft works fine. I have not changed any of the mods at all and they have all been working perfectly and I have not changed anything!
Someone help!

Added (1). UPDATE: Okay, I have since found out that the logo in the taskbar is the logo for the Lightweight Java Game Library. Any idea why Minecraft is now displaying this and why it is breaking my Minecraft?

Okay, so i accidentally killed my best friends dog that was worth 5k because of a breeding accident. (Minecraft still) I want it back, and she's going to be on later tonight. Does too many items or not enough items glitch in a way to get diamonds or iron to sell?
If not, what mods can i use for that?

MineCraft Technic Pack/FtB Java issue?

So, when I got FtB and the Technic Pack they worked fine. At the time I had 32-bit Java installed. However, I wanted to use all of my RAM, and not just 1.5GB of it. So, with help I installed 64-bit Java, but ever since I have been unable to download or play any mod packs from the Technic Pack and FtB launchers, and the icons on the Technic Launcher says "Offline". In the launcher consoles they both say the same thing:

"Network is unreachable: connect: java.net.SocketException: Network is unreachable: connect"

How do I fix this issue, if it's even possible? I have tried re-downloading both launchers multiple times, and have looked through the advanced settings on Java to see if there was anything about connection blocking, but to no avail. How do I fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is It Possible To Mod MineCraft on USB? How?

I Recently added Mine Craft on my portable USB, most computers I plug it into are low tech and can't run MC too well. It is possible to play, however, the lag is unbearable. Is there anyway i can add OptiFine to my game? I'm on the latest Version (1.7.4) and have attempted numerous times to mod the USB's MineCraft data.
I have tried Duplicating the Version and replacing it with OptiFine's (dot)JAR file, no success.
I have tried regular ways to install it but it can't find the MC files, for it is searching in the Computers "C" Drive and the Removable USB. I have Googled this question for some time now and I couldn't find anything close to "Modding USB MineCraft."

Is this USB good enough to?

Is a USB that has a speed of 80 Mbps for writing AND reading files good enough to;

Play minecraft (3D java game with a couple of mods) straight off it.

Run GIMP 2.8 off it.

Run Mine-imator off it. (Animation software)

Would this type of USB be good enough for intense programs?
Is it fast or slow for your taste?

How to stop Minecraft from crashing?

I'm trying to play Minecraft with Rei's Minimap and the X-Ray mod, and both mods are causing the game to crash at the title screen. How can I keep the mods, but still fix the crashing? It's rather odd, I've never had a problem with different mods in the past.

Added (1). I have no problem playing Minecraft without the mods loaded (or even with other mods loaded for that matter), but there's something about these two mods that when they're loaded, they make Minecraft crash.
