Cheap gaming laptops for under $550?

First of NO I promise I'm not crazy to ask for a gaming laptop under 550. I'm not wanting to like play heavy games since I can play battlefield and other games I like that on my Xbox. I just want to be able to play like Rift and WoW and runescape and things like that. I also mainly want to start doing some YouTube with Minecraft. I'd like to play Minecraft with good graphics (doesn't need to be fancy but not terrible.) I'd also maybe like to do a mod like Hexxit or Divine RPG or something like that. I understand desktops are cheaper, but I just don't have room for one. I'm going to be paying with this out of summer job money from working at my high school, which is why I'm on such a tight budget.

How to install NEI 1.5.2?

I have Minecraft 1.5.2 (Haven't updated it yet, and won't in a long time.) And I was wondering how can I install NEI easily, like I get confused where to put the.jar files, if in the coremods or mods folder.-. Like, I did once, put the CodeChickenCore in the coremods and NEI itself in mods folder but when I wanted to start a new world, it would not load at all, like, it would freeze and stay there. And then I changed it, CodeChickenCore in mods folder and NEI in coremods and it still didn't work, I have Forge ModLoader, and other mods, but I'm pretty sure they're all compatible, I'm using TMI for now, when I try to install NEI I use a clean minecraft folder. Please help, because I need the Waila mod and the ability to check on the recipes.-.

Do 1.5.2 minecraft mods work with 1.6.4?

There was a mod for minecraft forge that I want, but it is 1.5.2, and I can only get minecraft forge 1.6.4. I can't go lower than that, I want to know if 1.5.2 mods work with 1.6.4.

Can you add NPCs in minecraft?

I'm talking about the ps3 edition here. So no mods or anything like that, just in the standard game.

this is where i don't see the point of minecraft. You take hours of building something such as a city, then that's it. Like, what is the point to it? The only reason i'd see there being a point is if you could add NPCs and make them do things. So can you? What else is there to do once you've build what you wanted?
