Minecraft how to redownload 1.7.4?

I was messing around with my versions and stuff on minecraft and somehow 1.7.4 is now 1.6.4 while it still is titled 1.7.4… I usually play on a hacked client so I very rarely play on regular minecraft, I was trying to install a mod and you need to modify the latest version (1.7.4 ) but it when I got on it was 1.6.4 and I could tell right away because packed ice melted all over my automatic melon farm. Because packed ice wasn't in 1.6, and the 1.7.4 file doesn't seem to be anywhere. It must have gotten deleted somehow… So my question is, where would I find the correct 1.7.4 client to download without completely re-installing minecraft?

Why aren't zombies spawning? (Minecraft Zombiecraft 3)?

I just created a custom map in the Minecraft mod, "ZombieCraft 3" and the zombies are not spawning when i start the game. I waited for a few minutes and nothing happened. I'm on normal and even tried restarting the game but to no avail. It just says Wave: 1 Mobs: 0. Please help!

Why do I keep getting lag spikes in Minecraft even with great specs?

I have Zan's minimap installed, Optifine, Millenaire and Treecapitator mods installed. I used to never have a problem with lag and lag spikes but whenever Zan's minimap loads a new layer of the world as in displaying it on the minimap, i have a huge lag spike and freeze for about 3 seconds. This never happened before but now it is. I've done a defrag, i set its priority to realtime, I lowered the priority of programs I'm not using and i even started playing it on the fastest graphics for the first time ever.

The options i have are: AMD Phenom II Dual-Core Mobile N660 (3.0 Ghz), AMD Phenom II Triple-Core N870 (2.3 Ghz) and a AMD Phenom II Quad-Core P960 (1.8 Ghz). It would be mainly used with Minecraft with shaders mod. Graphics will be AMD Radeon HD 4250 or 4200. 4-6 Gb RAM. Which processor would work best in terms of fps?
