Any good minecraft servers? - 1

I'm currently in search of a new home server to play on for minecraft. I haven't played in quite a while but after watching a minecraft youtube series called mianite (pretty sick idea for a server btw) shoutout to syndicate. Anyways I'd love it if I could find a server with a small group of people to play with and just have fun and prank each other and maybe have a few battles or wars and such i don't know I think it'd be pretty rad. I just need a group of people to play with because single player gets pretty boring after a while. I'm 17 years old just in case there's an age limit for the server. Let me know if you guys know of any sweet servers and I'll check em out!

How to join a minecraft server? - 1

K so i have technic launcher (Cracked) and i always play Voltz (Minecraft version is 1.6.4). I wanted to play on a server alone with my friend so i downloaded minecraft_server.exe 1.6.4 and set it up.
i put the "server-ip" in server_properties and port forwarded and everything (online mode is false so the servers cracked). I joined as localhost: everything is fine and working i joined with the address(192.168.123.56:25565) and everything is fine and working i'm playing right now.
So next i text my friend that its ready and send him the address but when he tries to connect an error message comes and says connection failed\timed out.
He doesn't have minecraft server.exe he just has technic launcher cracked with Voltz with the same version as me. Anybody has an idea of what's wrong and how to connect(i don't want to use hamaichi or anything)
Please help me quick i'm so desprate to play some Voltz with my bro

Ps: i'm always online after midnight so please feel free to join 192.168.123.56:25565 to play some "friendly minecraft cuz i hope i get to play with alot of people itll be fun.

What Does Set to 256 Mean?

So, I'm 11 years old. And To Be Honest I'm A Computer Geek. So It Was Kinda Embarrassing When I Was On The Minecraft Server I Co-Own, And We're Working On Skywars Maps, Well I Don't Know Much About Skywars, so when I get on, Michael (The Main Owner) Asks Me To Go To Another Corner of the map and "Set It to 265" well. I Have No Clue What That Means. So If Someone Could Please tell me (geeks, you can come in handy) What that means and what's the command to do it, Thanks (Please make it simple, I'm not the Sharpest Knife in the drawer when it comes to skywars)

Anone got a vanilla minecraft server for me to play on?

Got no friends who want to play survival so I was wondering if anyone have a server I could play survival on with. We could talk on skype or something. I can't host a server because my computers firewall is glitchy with that kind of stuff.

Setting up a Minecraft server ip problems?

Hello i'm new here so help me out please. Ok i'm creating mc server and my friends can't join my server i have looke all over internet, but i just can't find a solution.So my problem is when i port forward i open up Port Cheker, it says i haven't opend the port. Still following step by step youtube videos how to port forward a minecraft server, and i can see that i have port forwarded correctly but my port still isint open. After some time i went to my router (192.168.2.1) and i saw the IP ADDRESS is asame as deafult geatway in CMD and IPV4 ADDRESS is diffrent by a number for a exampe: IPV4 address in my router is 192.168.2.4 and in CMD is 192.168.2.5 and Deafult Geatway is 192.168.2.4.

CAN ANYONE Help ME Please ANYHELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Minecraft Servers - Explained?

OK so basically i just want minecraft, and all I want to do for the moment is play with my brother who also just got the game. I just want to play on our own server (or world or whatever you call it) and just play survival mode with him working on our own little world.

So, assuming that in order to do this, i would need us to have our own server (unless there's another way of doing what i just mentioned), i proceeded to go to Google to search up how to do so, and was met with the most complicated array of **** and directions telling me to manually edit this and that in TextEdit and copy this to that program blablabla a bunch of stuff I don't understand. Is this what everyone who wants what I want had to go through?

When I enter minecraft now, and go to multiplayer - I can only either join a realm ( I have 2 options, one is like "lavacraft" the other is "hunger games" but I don't want either of those, I just want to play with my brother. It gives me the option of "add server" but I don't know what to do from thereon.

If someone could help me to figure what all this means out, it would be greatly appreciated. Just got the game and don't wanna give up and waste 30 bucks and the opportunity to play what I hear is a really fun game.

Also if "mods" have anything to do with what I'm talking about, please explain those aswell.

How to put my Minecraft server Online mode? (1.7.10)?

Hi, my Minecraft username is Cutiz2003 and I JUST made a Minecraft Server. My IP Address is my IP4v Isn't it? And on server.properties it says 'Online-mode: true' and when I try to connect to my srever I checked the IP and I have Minecraft_server1.7.10.exe open. Any help please? It would be nice.

Domain for an ip with an ending port?

I have a minecraft server at xx.xxx.xx.xx:25612 and I was looking to know how to create a domain which points to this, as when I put it into dot.tk, freedns and noip they all say the ip is invalid and only work without the port.

Is there where I can get an easier to Remember ip and use the port?

Also the ip won't work without the port as it is on a shared server.
