So I downloaded the server file from mine craft.net and put the file in a folder named Minecraft Server and tried to run it but it just opened and for 1 second and then closed why is this happening and how can I get it to run?

A friend and i are wanting to open up our own minecraft server and we want it to be creative. What are some good rules for our server? Also what are the best plugins? My favorite creative server (now closed down) had a plugin that let you sit on the stairs and i'm wanting to have that on mine but i don't know what plugin that is, do you have any idea on what that is? I really liked it.

ı have been playing on a server and i keep getting this message: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
but here is the strange part. Itdoesnt happen on daylight. I play smoothly all day, but when it is about 11 pm, it starts giving this message and i can't play anymore until next day
btw its not because i play fora long time, because today i didn't play all day but when i tried to play at about 11:30 pm, it again started to give this message
p.s: everytime i have about a minute before i'm kicked out again

Can't get on my own hexxit server for minecraft?
So, while playing on my Minecraft CrackPack server (otherwise commonly known as Feed the Beast), I came across this sort of gravitational pull that sucked me towards it and then threw me up into the air and killed me. Even with my jet pack, it wouldn't let me fly away. Is there any way to get my stuff back without dying or to kill it or what? Please Help! Every time I get near it it just throws me into the air and forces me to crash and die!

This really sucks cause my brother wants to play minecraft on his windows 8.1 tablet but when he tries to join a server he loads in then gets "timed out" and this is with every server he tried

Added (1). When i try to join my friend's server, it says precisely that ^^^. I'm using a windows7 32 bit pc. Any help?
