Today I launched my minecraft server and promoted it on some websites. Few players joined and started playing. Suddenly someone joins, says 'Goodbye' and the server is gone. I restart the server, reconnect, and it's down again. And so on…
It's not a cracked server. We're playing with premium accounts.
Is there a way to stop this (plugins/configs/dns/…) and/or get the player who did this banned?
I'm very limited right now. I just Minecraft, Resident Evil 5, Left 4 Dead 2, and Skyrim (all are on PC). I plan on doing videos of some of my Minecraft creations, do Minecraft tutorials, and do Let's Plays of all these games.
I also plan on doing videos on Minecraft custom servers like SkyDoesMinecraft, CaptainSparklez, Yogscast, etc. (I'm NOT trying to imitate them)
And also multiplayer videos of Left 4 Dead 2.
Any more ideas?
I have been needing to get a new computer, and i play minecraft so i want to get one that will work good for it. I'm only 15 so my budget isn't too high. The most i can spend probably $700. I also want to start a small server for like 10 maybe more people.

!m setting up a bukkit server with a ups backup in case the power goes out. My grandma has the highest speed internet i can think of so ill be putting it in a spare room at her house. The problem is i want to able to send a message using the server console chat if the power goes out saying that the server will be shutting down until power is restored and then have the computer shut down automatically but there's no way she will remember how to send it so i was thinking of something like a batch file but i don't know if that would work any ideas or suggestions would be really appreciated.
Added (1). basically what i want to do is if the power goes out and the ups is activated i want the server to send a message saying the server will be down until the power company can turn power back on and then after a minute or two have the computer shut its self down
Is there anyway i can create a static IP, as i'm trying to run a minecraft server, but its very difficult for people to join if my ip keeps changing? How can i make a static IP without being able to get hacked?
I have tried everything! Nothing has either worked or the places that people keep mentioning in windows 7 isn't there on mine. Also when i go to forums no one has made a good answer or hasn't responded at all. Can anyone actually help me?
I know how to make a LAN world as well as toggle my survival/creative settings, but I want to make a world that my friends and I can play on where I'm sort of an admin/moderator player (i.e. Have access to commands like /gamemode and /spawn). I don't want the other players to have access to cheats, however, since I want it to be more like a server. Is there a way for me to do this? I have a free Minecraft account due to a giveaway on YouTube. He's been helping me quite a lot with the situation. I have a laptop and he said that it's my laptop that's my problem. He said I should try to download Optifine but it hasn't upgraded to 1.7.2 so I can't really download it. I can't join any server and all of the possible messages that can show up.
Apparently my laptop has 5700RPM (I have no clue what that is) and a PC has 250,000RPM. That's why it's long to load from the launcher and it won't let me join any server. I don't want to get a new laptop just to play Minecraft though. I just want to play Minecraft and play on servers because I'm planning to record with the guy who sent me this free account.
Any ideas?

I play on this server where it's 1.7.2 and all the new blocks work and are craftable. I also go on a few other servers that are 1.7.2 as well but the new blocks don't work except for Acacia wood planks and Dark Wood planks. I know about spigot but is that what was used to get the blocks to work too? Please tell me if you know how to get a minecraft 1.7.2 server that has working blocks? I want to make my own server for just me and my friends to build random stuff but my friends want it to be in 1.7.2 and there's only one problem.
