Do minecraft servers you host using a server host, take from your internet usage?
I don't want to be charged extra on my internet bill for having a website host a minecraft server for me. Anyone know the answer to this?

I have skype and a mic. We could probably play on my server or yours whichever works. I'm 16 so I'd like to keep it 16+. Just bored and need someone to play with
My Minecraft server, running Bukkit 1.6.4 R2, suddenly will not load.
It was starting fine earlier, and please do not say that it is a corrupted world, because it's not, I've tested that.
There are no errors in the log, I'll post the last few lines in it:
20:14:15 [INFO] [Multiverse-Core] Loading World & Settings - 'world' - Env: NORMAL - Type: NORMAL & seed: -2288584024124544857

20:14:15 [INFO] [Multiverse-Core] 3 - World(s) loaded.
20:14:15 [INFO] [SpoutPlugin] Initializing precache for Multiverse-Core
No error, it just doesn't go any further. Also, I have tried removing Spout and Multiverse, however, nothing changed.
Again, the server had full functionality 30 seconds before this happened. The server restarted as I had set it to do, and every other time it came back up, no issue.
This is a major issue for me, and any support is greatly appreciated.
I'm looking for a server where i can give someone in game money to buy me ranks so i can get the full potiental of the game.
Is there a server on minecraft that you can create your own world and have your friend join but just your friends
So I'm from the UK and my boyfriend lives in Denmark, and we used to play Minecraft multiplayer together to pass time. We used to click 'Open to LAN', give eachother the LAN code, and we could connect and play instantly, without having to download any added software such as Hamachi. Now, when we try to use the LAN code, it says the server has timed out, or it simply will not let us connect. It also now gives a port instead of a LAN code. How can we set something up so me and him can play on a private server together, using this port code?
I've been looking around for months trying to find a server i actually want to stay on, i'm looking for a small minecraft server that is bukkit preferably, would be good if it had factions or towny but I'm not bothered about that, i just want a new small server between 10-50 people, thanks if you can help
So 1.7.4 just came out for minecraft so i decided to make a new server well i downloaded the server and put it into a new folder and ran the server but the log and chat did not come up neither did the world folder and server properties show up within my folder all that showed in within my folder was a folder called logs please help.
I went on a bunch of websites where they tell you if your port (25565) is open, and they all came out as a yes, but my friend can't connect to it.I've port forwarded, and it works for me when I do "local host". I have a craftbukkit server, if that makes a difference. My brother can connect to it using the internal ip, but my friend can't connect to it with my external ip or my internal ip. Can someone please tell me what's the problem and how to fix it? And no I'm not giving my ip to anyone so they can try.
Ps. It's not on my friend's side, she can connect to other servers, but not mine.
I got a new laptop and downloaded Minecraft and Java as told to by Mojang's website, however every time I try to click the 'Play' Button it comes up with this:
