What are the minimum PC requirements for Tekkit on full setings?

OK, I'm building a gaming PC, and I'm going to host a small server for maybe 4 people including myself to play Tekkit on. Here are my parts:

Powercolor Radeon R9 270X DEVIL 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz (can be overclocked to 5.0 GHz), 8 cores.

2x4 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz

ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 AMD 970 (Socket AM3+) DDR3 ATX Motherboard

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Is this good enough for a Tekkit server of my description, or will it cause me to lag. I don't know if it will help, but my friends will be playing on computers and laptops NOT specialised for gaming. Also, am I going too overkill for a Minecraft Tekkit server? I know in the PC gaming industry that there's no such thing as overkill, but will this setup cause me to get something like 150+ FPS? I'm not bothered too much about FPS, anything 60 FPS or above on full settings is fine for me!

Minecraft Multiplayer / Server

Okay, so my sister and I have wanted to play minecraft together on the same server for a long time. Today I finally got my own account so we could do so.

I never realized how hard it is to do this.

So, I know I need to create a server. I can do it (I think) but it's just so complicated for what I want to do. All I want to do is build something in creative mood together.

Is there a server out there already that we can join that will allow us to do this? Or will I have to buckle down and just create my own server.

If I have to create own my own server, anyone have a good website on how to do this?

My Minecraft is stuck on Connecting to Server?

I'm completely up to date and all with minecraft, including the new launcher. But for simplicity sake, I saved the old launcher to use, if I ever wanted to play my 1.5.1 bukkit server again, and I did. One evening, I booted up 1.5.1, and my bukkit, and everything worked fine. The next day, the dev launcher updated to 11.7.3/1.7.4, and so, I migrated my minecraft account, for the twitch compatibility. Later that day, I went to play on my bukkit server, and the server works fine, I have full connection, but when I click "Join this server" my game just gets stuck reading "Connecting to server". I click cancel, and try again, but it STILL doesn't work. I've dealt with this problem for a little over a week now, and I'm getting very irritated. I'm beginning to wonder if it has to do with my account migration, because, friends and family can connect just fine, and they are either using a cracked launcher, or HAVEN'T migrated their account. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get (preferably trying to avoid deleting EVERYTHING in my minecraft 1.5.1). Also, I'm running my bukkit through hamachi, which has never caused a problem before, thanks in advance!

Added (1). ***EDIT*** My account DOES work on other cpu's just not this one, again thanks in advance!

Added (2). @Armadil: I appreciate the idea, but I and tried that, and it didn't work. Thanks again for the idea, it's not gone unnoticed. Any other ideas, anyone?

Why won't my port forward work?

Ok so I have had this problem for 2 years now, ever since Comcast and Verizon changed their modems to routers. I have reset the modem, changed the IP, and everything obvious so please don't give me a simple answer. Every time I want to make a server, be it Minecraft or Starbound, it doesn't work. Take minecraft for example, port range forward 25565, apply. I run the server and run it on 25565 and my IPv4 address, I check if the port with my external IP to see if it's open and nope. This happens with all other games I try to port forward. Static IP or not. I have a Cisco E4200, which I know is not close to a bad router and I have 50 Mb/s speed. But I also have a Verizon modem router (A modem that is also a wireless router). I do the usual hook up, Modem to router, router to computer and everything works but nobody uses the Verizon modem wireless, even though it says it's up. Can somebody please help me? I don't want to get rid of my Cisco router, it was very expensive and I'm sure it's much better than the modem. Please, I want to run a server again. It worked before I got the stupid modem.

A Minecraft 1.6.4 Hunger/Survival Games server?

I would like to know one because I use a mod that only supports 1.6.4. Therefore, I can't use the mod on any versions that are 1.7 and above. If you could take the time to answer this question, I would really appreciate it.

How to know when someone logs in on minecraft?

Okay so, a month ago or so I met this person on minecraft and he went offline for a while saying he didn't like this server so I never saw him again and I just wanted to know like, how or is there a way I can know if hes online or offline or If hes in a different server, and what's the IP because i want to talk to him again, and I figure hes never going to be on the server we normally hung out at…

Why isn't my server working?

I set up a server on my computer for Minecraft. It was just for me, and my friends to use. I got it set up and it worked perfectly. I was able to do everything normally. Later that night, I entered "stop" to end the server and closed it for the night. The next day, I tried to open the server and it gave me this error message in the "logs" folder:

[16:23:12] [Server console handler/ERROR]: Exception handling console input
java.io.IOException: The handle is invalid
at java.io.FileInputStream.readBytes(Native Method) ~[?:1.7.0_45]

at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read1(Unknow… Source) ~[?:1.7.0_45]
at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.7.0_45]

Does anyone have any clue what this means?

Minecraft Server IP isn't working for me

I have created a Minecraft server for me and my friends and the IP doesn't work for me or my friends. The server itself is fine because putting "localhost" as the IP works for me, but when I put in my IP with:25565 at the end it doesn't work. The whole thing is fine, I have a custom world in it and 3GB of ram for it, but the only that's messed up is the IP. Anyone that can help please do.
