I've been trying to get a Minecraft server running by port forwarding on my router, but I can't get it to work. I need to open port 25565 and I have tried everything, but can't get it to work. I think there's a problem with my firewall, but I'm not sure. Can anyone walk me through the steps on opening that port?

Hi, so I'm wondering if there's a website where I can post editable leaderboards, or if I can create a free website to upload leaderboards. These leaderboards are for a particular game on the hypixel server on minecraft. So is there way a could create a site for this. I'm not wanting something that will auto-update because what I'm doing is not recorded in the data stored by hypixel.
I'm thinking about getting a version of Linux that best suits my needs. I'm going to boot it on a USB drive because I'm running Windows 10, and I hear Linux is better for some purposes, and I also do not want to replace Windows as the rest of my family has important files on it. I have a Minecraft server that I like to run every once in a while and am thinking about getting into game dev of some kind. I'm also somewhat of a gamer who likes to play modern high end games. I've got a 1 terabyte hard drive and 16 gigs of ram (I'm not sure if this matters). Which Linux distro would be best suited for my personal use?
Everyday My Local Disk C's space decreases (Now at 4 GB) What is causing it? And how can i stop it and retrieve the memory i lost? (I play Minecraft and have a server that i no longer open).
So, Minecraft isn't letting me log in. Its saying it can't connect to our servers and i do have an actual minecraft account because i bought it and i have even tried firewall acssess and it still isn't working, what should i do? Also when i last logged in it just kept saying play offline and when i clicked that it wouldn't load and go back to the home page
When I get to the menu and look at my ping to servers I usually get around 40-50. But when I get into game I usually get around 250-300. Why is this? And can I fix it?

I'm making a simple modded server just for me and my friends and would not be telling anybody else my computer s IP address, however I'm not willing to have my computer wrecked just to play with my friends…
It would help if I felt secure in port forwarding, because I just won't do it if I don't feel secure.
also, will port forwarding effect any other devices being used on the specific router? Because it would be pretty embarrassing to have my mom knock on my door asking why her Wi-Fi is being weird.
Well can you please tell me a server you know cause I really liked this feature. It was called like musical blocks or something. You had to run to a block that the color gave you in your inventory. And if you didn't make it to that color you die.
I made a minecraft server but I can't figure out how to set a spawn point to all of the players that join. If i type /spawnpoint it only sets mine. And befor that every time i die, i for some reason end up somewhere diffrent each time, can you tell me if its some sort of pluggin or what. This is minecraft 1.4.7 by the way
