I was in my dads office playing Minecraft (on a public server)on his computer and his co-workers complained about the internet being slow, emails taking long to send, ect.
So, I got blamed for making it slow and i was told to get off the computer.
Is it me or is the internet generally like that?
I was playing Minecraft with no lag, no bother (Unlike usual, at my house)
Basically, what I want to know is, Does Minecraft SLOW internet connections or not?
Minecraft Free Server Hosting Forever?
Added (1). So me and my friends are constant players of Minecraft. We enjoy playing it but we really want to play a survival multiplayer private server. We used to use Triangle.gs to generate our servers, until it stopped working last year, so now we're desperately trying to find a free minecraft server hosting website. We need to keep the server running, and we do not mind renewing it (as long as we don't have to pay). Any websites you would recommend? Let me know please!
Added (2). Another thing, I just wanted to let you know that we hate the queues that some websites make you wait in line for whenever you start up the server, so we try to avoid using these website.
I don't know what the issue is but I can't seem to get on any server. When I try to get on a server it takes a long time and then this pops up. Io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException… Connection timed out. I'm on a mac, I've turned my firewall off and I'm pretty sure it isn't that. I've tried getting on servers on other computers but none work for my account. I've tried on 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9 none of them are working.
Every other server I try works perfectly, but for some reason 1 single server decided to **** up. Whenever I try to join it, it says loading for ages then says, "lost connection, disconnected". I looked in the "latest" log in the game files and saw that it says "joining server", "already joining server". So maybe this is canceling itself out or something? Please help.
Added (1). there's still loads of other people on it though, and my sister can connect to it in the same house on the same internet…
I have an e545 edge thinkpad and a while ago my browser stopped working. I'm connected to the Internet but always says page can't be displayed. Minecraft servers work when I try though. I tried all the commands like flush dns and stuff like that and didn't work. I also have a fake Windows 7 and I can't uninstall ytdownloader.
I'm a 14 year old boy in highschool and I recently was demoted on a Minecraft server. Ever since that day, I haven't opening the minecraft launcher again. I've come to realize how beautiful life is and minecraft just takes that all away. Now, all I do is watch anime and youtube which i enjoy. However, I need something to replace minecraft because staring at a laptop screen all day can get tiring. My brother kind of codes and practices hacking stuff with kali linux and stuff like that. However, he does tell me at times that he's bored, and so am I. I don't want to go back to minecraft, but I need something else to do, I need a new hobby. However, this new hobby has to be computer-related. I don't want to be outside picking flowers lol. Thanks a bunch guys!
Added (1). Also, I'm interested in computer hardware (Like Gpu and stuff) While my brother is more interested in like coding and hacking routers and stuff.
Added (2). Also, in case you guys were wondering, I was demoted for being "childish" and "young" and they couldn't back up what they were saying about me. But I won't go into that, none of that matters to me anymore.
I was wondering if there's a way to get better game connection on minecraft or any game. I live in south africa so i'm very far away from any server location, thats why i need better connection.
Hi! Every time I go on my minecraft I seem to crash every time I go on a server! I have tried quite a lot of things but they don't seem to work, but if you know anything just reply with them and I will try them all again.
So I've been trying to learn how to code a plugin for MineCraft. I play on a server and want to help learn how to code the plugin to help out the server since we have a max of two coders. The plugin is a magic spells plugin, allowing the coder to code anything they can in the game. I'll leave the plugin and a simple guide to the plugin below.
