My Minecraft data got deleted

When I went on my laptop today and opened minecraft, my world was still up from the last time I used minecraft. I quit the world and went back to the homepage to find that everything was deleted. No world, servers, or resource packs. They are also gone from the minecraft folder. After restarting, my laptop background went back to the default. I don't know if somehow data is being erased or if it is just a minecraft problem, Please Help ME!

On Minecraft servers, how do they make it so that there's no land outside of maps?

So on Minecraft I have glitched my way to get outside of the maps on many various servers. When I get outside the map, I notice that on the maps there's only a little bit of land outside the map but everything else is just a hole that goes to the void. I understand that they can just destroy the land to do this, but my question is HOW they destroy all of that land so easily.

Help with Minecraft Bukkit plugins

So I have a new Bukkit server on mac and I have the latest version of spigot and whenever I put plugins in the plugins folder it doesn't work.

This happens: Could not load 'plugins/MassiveCore.jar' in folder 'plugins'
org.bukkit.plugin.InvalidPluginExceptio… Java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/massivecraft/massivecore/MassiveCore: Unsupported major.minor version 51.

The plugins don't even register!

I can't post the whole log so ill post some of it if you need me to.
