1000+ PING ON MINECRAFT SERVER

This has been happening for like 3 weeks! Its so annoying! I don't know how to restart a router lol.

Long pings can be many issues. Starting with your local router. To "reboot" your router, unplug the power, wait thirty seconds or more, reconnect power, wait for the router to reboot. (The reboot usually takes two to three minutes.)

If your ping changes your fixed, if not you will need more help. The issue can be the lan card or Wi-Fi card or drivers. It can be a trojan or virus, it can be a bad minecraft connection or server issue. IF the problem is only on one server it can even be a routing problem from your ISP or the Minecraft unit itself.
