My minecraft server has suddenly stopped working?

Every day for the last two weeks I have been playing minecraft with my friend just fine. I made the server and it worked it was fine. I don't have a static IP address so every time I reboot the internet I have to portforward again, but that's never been a problem and the server usually works after this, however this afternoon my mother rebooted the internet, so I portforwarded as I usually do but the server isn't working at all, neither me or my friend can connect to the server. How do I fix this?

Minecraft server help: Right location for my servers?

I'm going to be running with McProhosting a minecraft server, it's not a lot of plugins just hunger games, and, I was wondering which place should I choose? It says low ping in singapore for australians, but how much ping would americans get? I'm Australian and I can't have lag, because I need to deal will hackers and player, and I need to make sure they are hacking or not. These are the places mcprohosting hosts there servers, which would be best for australians and americans? I can't have 300 ping. Would it hurt the americans to have 200 ping for PvPing?

What minecarft server has the most amount of people playing it?

If the amount of Minecraft users that have been on the server is impossible to find then how many people are on it (average) at any time?

I know that litchcraft has around 2000 people on it any time, but I was wondering if any server has more?

Do I need a high end graphics card for a minecraft server pc?

I'm looking to build a pc for Minecraft and maybe a couple other servers. When i host the server on my gaming pc AND play minecraft on the same pc, it gets really laggy with Vechs maps and sethbling maps. Basically the ones that have tons of mobs. The computer will do nothing but run the server, which i will connect to with my gaming pc. My question is, would a Radeon HD 6450 be enough. Does the graphics card even matter in a server like this?

Can't make a Minecraft 1.7.6 profile?

In the sever I play I kept getting crashes like "Internal Exception: Java.io.IOException: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine" And looking that error up, one of the suggestions is to make sure the Minecraft version I run is the same as the server. I thought I was only to find they updated from 1.7.4 to 1.7.6. I tried to create a 1.7.6 profile but the option is not there. It goes

1.7.5
1.7.4
1.7.3
1.7.2
and so on

Minecraft youtube partnership?

So I have been playing MC for roughly 6 years on multiple platforms and wanted to know if anyone wanted to partner up to me and find a server (or use my own server) to play minecraft and make videos. I do have ways of promoting the video but i do have some requirements.
first off, i want someone who has been playing MC for at least 2 years if not more.
second, a computer that can run MC 1.7.2 near minimal graphics and at least 20 fps.
thirdly, maturity, i need someone who can act mature and age is not an issue.
lastly, i need a person who can possibly edit their own videos if needed, but i can do a majority of the editing myself.
