I tried both the.jar and.exe files (downloaded from the minecraft site). Each time i click the file, the normal window flashes for a second and closes. I changed the system path, updated java, made a batch file and nothing works. I would really like to start my own server but the program doesn't open. Any help would be appreciated.
I've been wondering how to set up my own server, See I've got a mini-server hosted by hamachi to play with my mates but how to set up a big one?!

So i have a 1.7.9 minecraft server me and my friends play and 1.7.10 is now out and i downloaded the new server to play the new update but everytime i start the server it fails to open and says Eula failed server closing or somthing like that. What is Eula? And how do i play the server?
I was running a AtLauncher server on my PC just fine. I transferred all the files to a server and changed the port froward and changed the ip in my server properties. But when i run it i can't find it on my other PC using the external ip address. How to i make it so that others can find that server?
My fps is fine, up until a point where I need to reload my chunks! I need to press f3+a to get better frames.
I could be getting around 90 frames, then gradually they'll drop to around 30 and it'll be unplayable. So i'll press f3+a but it'll go back up to 90, then back down gradually.
I'd have no problem about this as it's no burden, but it's cheating on servers like MCSG and Reddit UHCs because you can see people when you press f3+a for a second. I don't want to cheat, but if I see someone I can't just let them go.
Anyway can someone tell me WHY i need to keep pressing f3+a to keep my frames, and how I can stop it!
I just got the AutoRestart plugin and it works but then it restarts it don't restart the server just stops it please help me out i don't know why it don't turn my server back on i looked into the config but nothing to do auto restart true but there's Auto-update false not sure what that does but please help me out i'm a noob at servers lol

The other day I finally bought Minecraft, but there was an additional charge tacked on after the initial $26.95 went through. It was from Mojang Online, also $26.95 and I can't figure out what it was for because I'm not able to play online or join any servers, and I signed up for Mojang before I bought the game. If it wasn't for online service or the account, what was it?
I tried to join minecraft cats and hypixle server and i tipped in the write ip address but it said "can't connect to server" please help i had to wait a long time to get minecraft pc and its not fun by myself.

Hey guys i'm looking for a server that has skygrid but so far i only foung the lich craft one which has no spawners and the aem one which is so hard does anyone know another server that has spawners and isn't so hard (by hard i mean to get money and resourses)
