I'm looking to buy a new GPU and more RAM, I want it to be under $100 for both the GPU and RAM and please don't count rebates.
Current Specs:
CPU: A10 5800k
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7660D
RAM: Corsair Vengence 4GB 1600MHz
I mostly livestream minecraft but I'm probably going to start streaming COD: Ghosts and BF4.
I'm thinking about buying this GPU: http://www.newegg.com/...6814131488 but I want to know if I can get something better for under $100.
Added (1). Motherboard: MSI FM2-A55M-E33
Power Supply: Diablotek 600W
Added (2). I meant $100 for the GPU and another $100 for the RAM, also I will probably get the 7790 but I really want to upgrade my RAM so is this good? Http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148540

I'm planning for chrismas to buy a desktop for somebody. They will be using it for internet and Minecraft I don't want to spend all that much money and just minecraft and Internet. No bf4 or Cod on high settings just simple minecraft.
Hi this is my first ask so please bear with me. I have a Intel core i7 12 gb ram 64 bit processor computer. If i missed anything i can try to figure it out for y'all. A few weeks ago my monitor started flickering and then one day went out. Panic. Then once i was sane again i started to troubleshoot. I replaced the vga cable and it worked for a day and half. Went out again same black screen. So i got a new video card ( galaxy ge-force 620 from best buy, and installed it. Worked beautifully except it was beeping when it installed and when i turned the computer on ( Beeping: 6 times about a second or second-half ) then 2 days later ( yes i used it even though it was beeping. Played minecraft. And more research ) worked for about 2 days then the screen went out. The built in video card still works. But won't play minecraft ( big huge problem) so here in lies my question… What next. If anyone can help or offer advice i'm very thankful.

I'm looking at laptops for solely gaming purposes and was wondering what was better to have, a 500 or a 750GB @ 5400rpm Hard Drive?
The games that are going to be played on either range anywhere from Minecraft to Skyrim/ESO.
The two HP laptops I'm considering buying have these comparable specs:
HP Pavilion G7-2269WM
6GB DDR3 SDRAM (2 DIMM)
1.9GHz up to 2.8GHz Next Gen AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M Accelerated Processor
AMD Radeon HD 7640G Discrete-Class graphics and up to 3060MB total graphics memory
750GB 5400RPM hard drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection
Genuine Windows 8 Home Premium (64-bit)
HP Pavilion 17z-e100
6GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
AMD Quad-Core A6-5200 Processor [or can switch out for AMD Quad -Core Processor A4-5000 Processor]
1GB AMD Radeon™ HD 8670M Discrete
500GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
Windows 8.1 64
The second is highly customizable but with better specs it costs more; also I know its default graphics card is already slightly better than the firsts.
Since the computers are basically the same, is there anyway I could upgrade the first laptops graphic card [7640] to the latter [8670]?
When I upload YouTube videos they seem to upload and process fine. Then, when I watch the video, it stops at a certain point without audio, but the video is still running. It has happened with all the videos I've upload. I've already checked the video in my laptop the video in my files and it is fine. I tried watching the video from another computer and the problem is still there. I've never had this problem with videos in my other channels (deleted), but since the first video in this one, they all had this problem.
I record with fraps and edit with Windows Live Movie Maker. I've only uploaded Minecraft videos so I don't know if it is fraps, movie maker, Minecraft, etc.
This is the only video I have right now because I uploaded it yesterday and I deleted the other ones.
I'm really picky about seeds, I like a nice land with a lot of trees around. I like to build a lot. I like LDShadowLadys (ShadowCraft) world. I've looked on YouTube for seeds, but there's nothing that impresses me. I do like Temples, dungeons, and villages, but mostly landscape. Can anyone help? Any good seeds out there?
I run a Youtube channel, and instead of having complicated player names in my minecraft recordings, I would prefer to have just "Tom" or "Conor" etc etc. Is there any way to change the name above someone's head in Minecraft LAN 1.7.2?
If you're reading this questions I would just like to thank you for taking the time from your day to help me. I've been wanting to start up a Youtube channel for a long while now, but I noticed how many other people have similar thoughts.
I want to be unique, and do things that nobody has really done before, but when I find a game I really enjoy, it turns out to be way too OVERDONE on Youtube and so I know that my videos will get lost in the mix. For example I love LOTS of FPS games, I have Minecraft, although I never actually played it, Skyrim… Blah blah blah, I think you get my point that these are way too overdone and even if I try to give the viewers a unique watching experience, there are so many other videos that put in so much work like I intend to do, but don't gain any recognition.
I'm quite good at art and can make attractive enough thumbnails, but all I really need is a game, and so I really need some UNIQUE game suggestions that are in your opinion good, but not everyone on Youtube is doing them.
Honestly, I've just been thinking about this Youtube thing, because I like the idea of it. Making commentaries and playing games, it's sounds so much fun and could easily turn out to be my favourite hobby. I'm not doing it for the "fame or fortune", I simply just want to make someone laugh, or make their day.
I enjoy adventure games, first-person shooter games, open-world games, action games and NEARLY every other genre EXCEPT horror. I tried Slender, didn't turn out pretty. If someone probably draped a table cloth over their head and shouted boo at me, I'd get the scare of my life… Okay maybe it's not that extreme but… My reaction usually goes a little like this. *Sees scary object, widens eyes, stares at it for 2 seconds, Press "Esc", or "Alt + F4".
Thanks, and I really appreciate a game suggestion, and if possible why YOU enjoy the game, because I sometimes need some convincing before getting into a game:3
Added (1). EDIT: Tang, I see where your coming from, but I'm not doing this for subscribers at all, I just want a game that I enjoy playing on Youtube. I do intend, somewhere in the near future to do videos of the games I like, but I also need some form of motivation. Many games I have are not let's play/ youtube material as I feel they can be long-lasting. These types of series may not suit me as I may get bored of them mid-way, or frustrated and stop the series because I'm bored, which I ultimately want to avoid. For this very reason I want unique games that I know I will enjoy both on and off camera. Open-world games can be fun to play, but Skyrim isn't the type of game I want to record at the moment, because sometimes it takes a while for quests to click in my head, and I don't want to bore people. HOWEVER, I really do want to thank you for the awesome feedback. I really appreciate and I will make sure I record a game that I really do enjoy.
