The HP Laptop Is in The Pavilion Series, Its 17.3in & 4gb w/ windows 8
I'm A Gamer, I Play Minecraft & sometimes World Of Warcraft. I Do Internet Browsing ALOT!
What is the best one?
My niece is 15 she loves to play cute games online like minecraft and many other types of games with a more girly type tone and my nephew who is 16 he loves playing war simulation games and other stuff where there's plenty of blood and guts and a more intense serious type gameplay I know there are some guys who also play girly games and some girls who play guyish type games but generally speaking each gender seems to like a very different type of game the most. There's not many girls who play war simulators its something like 1 out of every 10 male players is a girl so it seems.
Why is this? Why does each gender have more of a fondness for a certain type of game? The girls liking the more girly less serious games and the boys liking the more serious fighting war games.
Just curious.

I want to code a game like minecraft. I don't mean breaking stuff and building. I mean minecraft can go 1st person, break the area and it is also random maps and big maps.
I don't know anything about coding, I skimmed through a beginner c++ guide and it all seemed straight forward. I pick up on things quite easily.
i'm going to college next year for this, and id like to get a head start. I would like a guide, programs to use etc etc. I won't be flooding the chat or anything and until college this will be more of a hobby so its no pressure. (i've asked this before and the answers were useless, didn't answer my question at all)
I've been playing Minecraft for a while now, and I finally amassed enough Eyes of Ender to go on a Stronghold hunt. I followed the eyes until they started going in the other direction, and I dug straight down from where they went straight down. I couldn't find any stronghold, and I cleared out the entire area pretty good looking for it, all the way down to bedrock. What could be wrong?
A bit of background, I dropped my laptop over a year ago and basically it screwed up the camera and microphone, I don't know if this is also a reason why my laptop runs very slow.
Then, after a few months went by, none of my programs would even open, I tried clicking everything/opening everything but it always said "Unknown Publisher," even to basic files on Windows 7. Even before this, I felt that my computer started running slow.
Anyways, I decided to wipe the whole system because of this, so it basically deleted everything and my computer can run. Now I feel that it's way too slow, it takes ages to load a web page, and I can't even play games like Skyrim, Runescape, or even Minecraft without it lagging so badly, and I can tell that when I first got my laptop, it wasn't this bad.
Here's basically my computer's RAM, I don't really know all about RAM, 
Is there any way to fix this? I don't have warranty or anything, so I feel like that's out of the picture.
If you want to give out Christmas movies (NOT T.V. Shows), from Redbox or online that would be great. But, Please don't mention: Frosty The Snowman, Rudolph and the Island of Misfit Toys, Santa Claus, Santa Claus 2, Elf, Merry Christmas Drake and Josh, Polar Express, Mickey Mouse's Christmas Classics, etc. (I watched all of these with my family). Easy and Fast Crafts would be nice (Please don't give me a lot of websites; maybe like 1 or 2… Other than that answer descriptively).
Or if you want to mention a website I can play with my 11 year old sister (I'm 14), that you DON'T have to download that would be great too.
