I'm getting a new laptop, my budget is around £600. I want to be able to play minecraft on quite high settings, but I also need it for work, general internet browsing etc. I probably won't use it for any other games.

It's a HP Pavilion with an A10 processor, 8GB ram, 1TB memory and an AMD Radeon HD graphics card.

Basically I'm asking whether this will handle minecraft at normal-far render distance etc. And if anyone can suggest a better laptop in this budget that would also be appreciated. It has to be a laptop, not a desktop PC.

So I have the Compaq Presario CQ56. And on the lowest settings on minecraft I get roughly 20fps. I also tried to play Left for Dead 2 but my laptop literally shut itself down when I tried to open it. I just got A Hp 2000 Notebook Pc for Christmas and I'm in need of playing Minecraft, See the thing is I don't have The actual Game Minecraft I Have Mineshafter, Every Time I open the game itself it won't go to the Home screen of the game. I'm very frustrated and Will be very grateful to get any Answers.

Added (1). What I mean is That When you open the Launcher Of mineshafter and you press play, It loads but When I restore the browser all you see is the screen of the Launcher and not the Minecraft Screen which leads you to playing the game

I'm looking into building my first gaming pc. I know my budget is pretty low but I've seen some videos on youtube of pc builds around this price that are decent. I don't know very much about what parts make a great gaming pc, and if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate the help.
I mainly play:

- skyrim
- guild wars 2
I also record gameplay/edit videos & surf the internet. I'm just looking for an upgrade from the laptop I have now so I can run games easier and with higher graphics. Any recommendations?
