I don't know how to turn off full screen on minecraft. I play on a macbook pro if this helps.

Settings - full screen *click* - Full screen: off

Esc, there quit to title, on the bottom it will say quit game press that and your out, if you're asking for not full screen yet playing you have to do f11 or fn f11
