So i haven't played minecraft in about 2 months… And since i have HORRIBLE memory i forgot my password… According to Mojang i recently changed the password, but when i click the second link in my email(the one that you press after 24 hours) it said that another email had already been sent… But I'm sure that there definitely wasn't any mail even in my spam or junk folders. (does getting minecraft over a gift code have anything to do with this?)
I've been trying FOREVER to download an Equestria map for minecraft. I don't know how to open up the world in minecraft. Can I do it without downloading a program? I don't want any programs that will harm my computer.
I just got minecraft today and when I downloaded it it was 1.3.6 and I can't get it to work at all. Please help I have no idea. I spent A$25 and for it not to work just frustrates me. Do I update it or do something else.
I need to get past my parents tv parental controls
My internet works fine when I search or do other stuff but when I play Minecraft, I keep lagging. Everyone freezes and I just move around. Also, my Minecraft logo is this picture of the keys and a blue circle.(The WASD keys) and my Minecraft sound isn't working either.
I have DayZ (arma 2, OA ect) also got skyrim, red orchestra 2, war thunder, bloody trapland, APB: reloaded and minecraft. (Plus add any free game)

I want to play Minecraft but I get scared the heck out of when those random creepy noises come out of no ware, I tried looking up how to get rid of them but the information is for previous versions of Minecraft. The people always ask for resources folder but I only have "resourcepacks" folder. And i tried going folder by folder but its only numbers and stuff. Please help to get rid of these creepy noises.
Added (1). I have windows 8 and my micecraft is updated to the latest version.
