What is a good windows 8 screen recorder? - 1

I'm looking for an easy to use screen recorder, for windows 8. One that doesn't have an annoying intro, or where you can see the stop recording thingy. I have already tried EZvid, but I didn't like how they had the intro, and you could see the stop button for recording. I use OBS to stream, but there isn't a way to record through that I know of. I'm planning on using to record some minecraft cinematics, and add some music to it. If you have ANY suggestions, please let me know, and what you think of them, etc.

Transitioning from online college to real college. Is it worth it?

So I started doing an IT course with Penn Foster, an online college. I got hung up half way through the algebra portion. I've always been good at math but the questions here take longer and longer to complete. First I halved my study time from 1 assessment per day to half an assessment per day. It's not getting any easier though. It takes me like 4 hours to complete one and by the time I'm done I don't have any energy for anything else.

I sorta quit that because it was getting annoying. I'm feeling bad about it but I know I'll just quit again if I pick it back up. So I thought maybe I should start going to a real college. At first I couldn't because I didn't have transportation but now I do. I'm thinking it'll be easier because of the following reasons, but my logic could be flawed:
a) More tangible deadlines. Right now I can go a month without studying and the program will still be there waiting for me. I don't feel the pressure.
b) More social interaction. In particular, more girls to impress.
c) Harder to quit. At home I can just close the book when I get tired and go back to Minecraft. I doubt I'll be able to do that in a classroom.

Has anyone gone through a similar situation? What are your results? Are my points valid at all or will I fail no matter what I do?

Lenovo Y510P Requirements?

I'm Junior High School and wanted to buy this laptop. I wanna ask 3 things:

1. I'm still at school, so could this laptop be used on my presentations in school?
Why?

2. I have some games that i'm going to play like: NFS Most wanted 2012, Sims 3, Minecraft. Are my laptop enough to reach the minimum requirements? What the fps Average ( If could)?

3. Is there any better laptop for my usage with $1000 Budget?

How to make life more interesting?

My life is boring. I wake up, brush my teeth, take a shower, do school, walk home, wait until 3:30, go outside and play with a few of my friends till 9, go home, play minecraft and watch videos until i feel sleepy, go to sleep. The next day after i do school i do the the same but instead of going outside i play on the computer the whole day. On weekends i stay on my computer or sometimes go outside. I'm not in a relationship, can't get a job because i'm 13. Can someone tell me a few things I can do to spice up my life. I'm also really shy and i'm home schooled. And sorry if i put this in the wrong category.

Can someone create a logo for my youtube channel?

I'm 15 years old and I have made a youtube channel some years ago. But last time I'm spending more attention to my channel, I upload better videos, try to get some attention…
Now I keep getting more and more fun out of it and I would like to grow.
But when you want a successful channel you need a good lay-out. And that is one of my weakest points. I'm searching for someone who can (help me or do it by his own) design (making a logo, channel background…) my channel. My channel is mainly about gaming variated games like battlefield 4, minecraft, team fortress 2, DayZ… But I also uploaded a 'how to build a PC tutorial'.

I'm not that popular.
If you check my channel out I recommand checking out my newest videos because that's what I'm going to upload in the future. My minecraft serie is sort of boring but I keep it on my channel because I think it's funny how you can see my voice and quality of the videos changing. (it's not in english so you probably don't want to see it anyway).

Is my YouTube channel growing at a good pace?

I made a YouTube channel about 2 months ago. It is a gaming and technology channel (but mainly gaming). It is Dr. Phantom. I have 34 subscribers.

Right now I have 15 videos: a Minecraft Let's Play, a Left 4 Dead 2 Let's Play, a Skyrim Walkthrough, Minecraft Tutorials, and a PC Gaming vs. Console Gaming

So far, my video with more views is How To Make An END Portal In Minecraft 1.7.4 that I uploaded on December 16, 2013. It has more than 2,300 views.

Is my channel growing at a good/normal place, or is it growing slowly?
