Can't download minecraft forge b/c it tells me that I need to play minecraft v1.7.2?

I own minecraft and it's v1.7.9. Why can't I download forge and is there a way to fix this?

How does minecraft's loading work?

So I started an amplified world just to fly around and look at it, and its very very laggy skippy and such as it loads. Does anyone know how minecraft loads things? I mean, I can turn on a game like Far Cry or Battle Field and run them on ultra high and its smooth. What makes minecraft, a game not even near as demanding put so much more strain on my computer and load so much worse?

Spilt a drink on my keyboard and now some keys are playing up?

So i spilled a fizzy orange drink on my keyboard and i wiped it off as soon as possible but now when i Play games like minecraft, when i push the left arrow once it thinks i'm holding it down for about 3 seconds and i can't push space while pushing any other arrow? How do i fix this?

I'm learning Java for 6 months now, should i learn another?

Here is the story: My first contact with programming was with Pascal, i made a text-based calculator, but then i never programmed again. Passed i guess 2 years or less, i don't know, i said to myself that i would program again and that was what i wanted. I started learning Javascript, but later i passed to Java, i don't know why, maybe because i was fan of Minecraft and i wanted to make a game like this, so i learned in many ways, reading books, watching videos etc. But passed 5/6 months, and i guess that i was wrong, i should have learned a easy language first, like Python, C(basic) or even continue with Pascal. Now i see myself, and i don't know what to do, if i continue learning Java and w/e, or i go back and start learning the basics again of another language. What to do?

PS: my dream is to make games.

Any solution for slow performances?

I kinda got all jacked up by this slow performance thingy. I mean, I still have tons of free spaces on my hard disk but every time I tried to play a game (take minecraft for example), my fps drops to below 20. Any solution for this kind of problem?

All my drivers and stuff are up to date and I had to change the appearance to the 'best performance' in order to get rid of the laginess ( doesn't work as well ). Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Minecraft (PC) nether portal troubles?

I killed a pigman in the nether and now all of them come after me as soon as I go back into the nether. I even tried to move my portal and it just puts me in the same spot and I keep dying. How to do I move it or after a while will the pigmen just ignore me again?

How to set a waypoint on Minecraft?

So my brother downloaded Minecraft and I made my own survival world and I already have a lot of good stuff and I want to set a waypoint but I don't know how, if you know a way for me to set a waypoint please tell me, thanks.
