Any solution for slow performances?

I kinda got all jacked up by this slow performance thingy. I mean, I still have tons of free spaces on my hard disk but every time I tried to play a game (take minecraft for example), my fps drops to below 20. Any solution for this kind of problem?

All my drivers and stuff are up to date and I had to change the appearance to the 'best performance' in order to get rid of the laginess ( doesn't work as well ). Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Hi i'll just get right to it, i wish you could tell me about your windows (which your drivers are look like Se7en drives to me)hey did you try the visual c ++(all versions) what about the microsoft net frameworks( precise versions) cause those applications i just named for you gives you a huge boost for gaming (i'm saying this by experience) and also your directx, also your graphic driver.
i hope my written solve your issue man.

It depends on your PC if the lag is removable or not. If you had given the PC specs I could be more clear.

Windows 7 needs a multi-core processor and 1GB RAM of it's OWN to work seamlessly so make sure you do. Also, more RAM means more efficiency. So get extra RAM, you need atleast 2GB+ to run Windows 7 fast.

Another thing could be the start-up. Uninstall the programs you don't need (Control Panel - Programs and Features - Uninstall ) and remove the programs which are not to be started when you start Windows.
- Run (Control + R keys) ( or on the start menu)
- type 'msconfig.exe' without quotes
- select Boot tab
- click hide windows services
- uncheck the programs you want to disable on start-up

You have much free disk space so don't bother about it. Also, Minecraft is not a much optimised game! So don't expect to run it so great without a graphics card. If your PC is more outdated than 2008, I suggest for a new upgrade for the PC.

Feel free to contact me if you need help.

You need to disk clean up, disk-defragement after that you need to run good antivirus software. Once you will do that then you need to uninstall all unwanted software from your computer.

Maintaining gaming rigs is quite a time costly process, as recommended, you are meant to re-install windows every year. (this prevents MEM buildup) other options could be heat, Heat is a killer. Thouroughly blow the inside of your computer, Try doing some Disk Defragment and Disk Cleaner, PM me if you need further assistance.

Also don't forget to search this on Google.
