Intel Quad core or Six core?

I do realize that a 2011 LGA Six Core can be a bit of overkill for the price, but I'm doing a DYI computer that I hope to keep future proof for at least three to six years through HS and College, so I'm wondering if I should get a Quad-Core and a GTX 780, or a Six-Core and a GTX 650.

I'm not much of a hardcore gamer but I tend to do virtual machines, movie downloading, disc encoding, video editing, CPU-intensive games like Minecraft, and maybe the occasional high-quality game (WoW, Skyrim).

Which pair-up is better?

Best Gaming pc under 1000?

This pc needs to be under 1000 dollars and needs to play Minecraft, Sims 3, soon to be sims 4 and other games like that. On Highest or close to highest settings very smoothly and nicely. I rather not build but if its the best thing i'm might just be willing to. Keep in mind i'm willing to go a little over so I can get a nice monitor, mouse ETC. If you can recommend a nice monitor, mouse, Keyboard and speakers that are really good quality but cheap that would be greatly appreciated. Please nobody say don't be cheap because i'm only 13 i'm to young to get a job I'm taking a summer baby sitting job and doing a yard sale for the money so yeah thanks.

AMD Radeon HD 8400
Intel HD Graphics 4600

Minecraft pc 1.6.4 shaders don't work?

I've been trying to get some shaders for minecraft I already have everything but when i pick a shader it always says update graphics driver even with the lite versions, it has so much lag and i can't even get to the pause screen so i can turn off the shaders thing. The display driver my pc has is Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset and i can't update it because it says its already up to date what can i do to make it work

I don't know what driver to update or how? Graphics rendered glitchy in some games?

I'm having precicely the same issue shown in this youtube video:

The textures (primarily for the foliage, but also for just about everything else in certain places) is stretched obnoxiously over all of Skyrim, obscuring my view of paths and, more problematically, dragons. This issue doesn't seem to occur much in individually loaded areas such as caves or buildings, but the more vast the space the more render issues there are.

This also occurs with Sims 3 and Goat Simulator - but not Minecraft, Portal, Portal 2, Amnesia (either of them), or Bioshock.

I've tried googling the problem and most of the solutions involve "Updating to the most current drivers" - which may sound straightforward enough for people who know how to do that, but I'm really utterly clueless about this sort of thing. Which drivers should I update? Where do I go to update them? How do I do it?

I'm not sure what information really makes a difference here and what doesn't, but here's what I know: I'm using Windows 7, not 8, and I'm using an HP Pavilion dv7 laptop.

Added (1). Actually my issue isn't quite as it is in that video. Any one still from that video matches my issue, but the odd renders don't change anywhere near that rapidly.
Additionally I'd like to know if outdated Java could have some influence. I do not want to update my Java unless absolutely necessary ^^;

What is a good gaming PC laptop?

Ok well I want to transfer from console to PC gaming and I know absolutely nothing about PCs or even computers at all. I'm on a very tight budget. And I prefer a laptop over desktop because I'm always on the move.

I need something within the range of $500-$1000

I need something that can run minecraft, counter strike, dayz, and pretty much steam games.

I won't know what you mean by some things so please do your best to explain
