Most powerful Graphics Card that DOES NOT require external power?

Hi, I sold my old gaming PC due to some issue blah blah blah, and I'm saving my money for a new one.

I'm 14, not poor but DEFINETELY not rich, so I realised I'm not getting a PC anytime soon.

I currently play a lot of source games and minecraft on my fathers office PC, which has an i3, 4gb ram etc.

I wanted to get a good graphics card and put it in, but the power supply would not support that much power, and I can't change the power supply as it is not my PC.

Anyway, what is the best (most powerful) graphics card that will run off of the PCI-E port only?

Minecraft help! Spawn in air, Stuck/frozen?

I haven't played the game in almost a year because of this glitch or bug. I spawn in the air, but I'm frozen, can't move, can't do anything, also its says not responding! I tried the %appdata% , followed all the directions, didn't work. Then I deleted everything that's minecraft from my computer, including cleaning out the recycle bucket, then reinstalled it again, still didn't work. I'm stumped, don't know what to. No sound Minecraft 1.7.10?

Okai so it's been a couple of months since I played minecraft so I decided to play today, and when I did there was no sounds:/ like when I hit things there's no sound, there's no sound when I walk, when I place things, etc. I also tried using a resource pack but there's no sound either… I already checked the volume in the settings, restarted minecraft AND my computer, and yeah, so can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Minecraft and games like it?

Do you think all games that are similar to Minecraft one that pops into my head is Oort Online are trying to feed of Minecrafts success in this genre and would you go as far to say that we would not be seeing these style of games if Minecraft never took off

Added (1). in case of confusion i mean like breaking apart blocks and placing them or a game world that is made up of cubes

What is an indie game/company?

I would like to know, what is an indie game or an indie company? I have heard of these things before I know Minecraft is a inde game. But I don't know what that means, I keep thinking that inde games mean they come from India. But I don't think so. I would like to know what do you think they are?
