I haven't played the game in almost a year because of this glitch or bug. I spawn in the air, but I'm frozen, can't move, can't do anything, also its says not responding! I tried the %appdata% , followed all the directions, didn't work. Then I deleted everything that's minecraft from my computer, including cleaning out the recycle bucket, then reinstalled it again, still didn't work. I'm stumped, don't know what to. Got a picture to show you what I mean.

Does it only apply to one world or any world/seed you create?
If it only applies to one world, your world data might be corrupted or damaged. Have you tried repairing it yet? If you haven't, try this. You could download MCEdit then extract it, run it, load the <Insert your world name here>\level.dat; then click the MCEdit button on the top left, World Info; then try repairing chunks.
