I'm playing a Hardcore minecraft Feed The Beast map. I want a program that can backup the save that I'm playing on every 5-10 minutes so that if something goes wrong, I can fix it. I would also like the program, thought it doesn't have to, to be able to delete the backups after 10 or so backups. Is there a program that can do this for me?
My computer MSI CX61 2PC-499US I ordered at XOTIC PC and got it overclocked professionally. It works perfectly but I wan't to have a way to disable it so I can play minecraft without any white flicking. I have been told to goto the bios and I know how to get there but I don't know what to do when I get there. I have windows 8.1 if that helps at all

I have a laptop (Dell Inspiron 7720) 8gb ram, i7 3630qm, Nvidia Geforce 650m. I'm into games like The Sims, Minecraft. Rust looks good too. So basically survival or simulation games. Anything new and good out there?
I'm trying to figure out why my minecraft lags. I have all the settings turned down. I have an amd 6core cpu (3.8ghz), 8gb's of 1333 ram, gigabyte radeon r9 270x 4gb gpu. I can play battlefield 4 on ultra settings and it plays like a charm, but a simple game like minecraft lags. What could possibly be my problem?
I recently got a macbook air and I tried to download minecraft, but when I open it it says "Minecraft not allowed." before, this Air I had a Macbook Pro, which ran perfectly… What is the problem, there are no parental controls, and I set the setting, "allow all downloads" it still won't work… I'm also the admin on this computer, Like I said i just got the computer… Please help me.

I had went to some websites and a few had said it was out and other say it isn't. There's also a youtuber with the name Thinknoodles and he mentions in a couple of his videos that he uses 1.8. So I thought I could update it to 1.8 and when I tried it started playing 1.7.10. So if Minecraft 1.8 is out then how do I get it? And if its not then when does it come out
