I have a laptop (Dell Inspiron 7720) 8gb ram, i7 3630qm, Nvidia Geforce 650m. I'm into games like The Sims, Minecraft. Rust looks good too. So basically survival or simulation games. Anything new and good out there?

Sandbox games Space Engineers and 7 Days to Die. They are both on Steam and around $20. Worth the money. They're both still in Alpha stages but are quickly progressing. Look it up.
