Me and my friend want to Skype and play Minecraft on my world. The thing is though, he lives about 10 mins away where obviously the network is not the strong. Is there any way that we could still play through lan, but he doesn't have to come over?

I've played Feed the Beast many times on here before but all of a sudden it started acting up. I just downloaded the latest version of Java, I'm pretty sure I reinstalled it but I can't be too sure. Anyone know what to do? I looked at some other forums and followed the instructions but they didn't help.
If you know how to uninstall it, then that would be helpful. But if that doesn't work, what would the next step be?
And if not, what's a good laptop that can do it better. I'm not too much of a gamer. I primarily just play games like minecraft, league of legends, ect. I need a fast laptop for school, watching netflix, and watching hockey.

I wasn't watching X rated videos or anything. I signed up for Minecraft and bought it (with parent's permission) but Net Nanny won't let me access my mail account to verify the MC account. How can I temporarily disable the filter just to verify my account?
I have a 64 bit system so I decided to get the 64 bit java so minecarft and ftb would work better but when I go to launch minecraft it only has the option to play offline instead of play and when I try to play a pack on ftb it says the serevers are down and to go to mojang for help but when I revert back to 32 bit everything works fine

I want to download my steam and get games like half life and borderlands, and I want to get minecraft. Those aren't all the games I want, but I think you get the idea. I want to download music on it too, but it is fine if the laptop can't do that, I mostly want it for gaming. I can't get anything too expensive, so try keeping it under $1,000 ok?
