And if not, what's a good laptop that can do it better. I'm not too much of a gamer. I primarily just play games like minecraft, league of legends, ect. I need a fast laptop for school, watching netflix, and watching hockey.

No. They are mostly expensive. At the price of MackBook Pro, you can build your own PC workstation.
Mac is not made for gaming. If you want to do gaming then better get a Windows laptop. You will get a powerful Windows laptop at the price of Macbook.

If that is all you do then don't spend the money on a Mac unless you simply want to. I absolutely love MAC as they are much more stable and do not have to be rebooted on a regular basis. Programs like Photoshop run seamless which is really nice. Exactly what programs do you need to run for school?
The minimum requirements for League of Legends are higher than for Minecraft. More important than processor and ram is the Video Card. Make sure whatever laptop you go with has a dedicated Video Card. GeForce 8800 or better. If money is an issue than check out a Sager laptop from www.powernotebooks.com

You have so many choices I need more information to truly recommend a good laptop. What exactly is your budget? What size screen do you want? Is weight an issue?
Again, if you go with a MAC it too needs to have a dedicated video card NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M or ATI Radeon HD 4670 or better.
If you are okay with buying used look for an Alienware. They truly are great laptops.
