Laptop only charges when 100% battery?

My 4 year old Toshiba L500D -00X will not keep its charge unless it's already at 100%. The only way I can charge it is if I close the laptop and leave it be until fully charged. I had it in to be fixed a few months ago and the man who supposedly fixed it replaced both the charger and the battery, which I had replaced on my own a month prior. I haven't gotten it wet, I haven't dropped it, I haven't bent the cord, the fan is fine… I have no idea what is wrong with my laptop.
Usually I don't have to worry about my laptop randomly losing its charge unless the cord is out for too long and it becomes 99% charged, but my sister and I recently bought Minecraft and whenever I play it for longer than 5 minutes it says its plugged in, not charging and I have to shut off my laptop until it's fully charged again. This really gets on my nerves because I like spending time playing Minecraft with my sister.

Also, in case anyone says the problem is that it's just old and running out of life, I bought it brand new and didn't start using it until 2 years ago because my screen wasn't working, so while it's 4 years old I've only been using it for half its life.

I really hope someone can tell me what's wrong. I can't afford another laptop and this one holds a lot of sentimental value for me.

All my stuff is gone in minecraft?

Ok so I went into the new update (1.8) and checked out my world. Then I went back to 1.7.10 and went to my world then I went back to 1.8 and all my stuff is gone… Like my armor food and supplies and everything. Then underneath all of my minecraft signs there are words tht say null… What happened? Will I ever get my stuff back? I'm really freaked out:/… This is a single player survival world btw.

How to put data onto an external hard drive?

My dad got me a 1 tera-byte sea gate external hard drive. He says I can put info on it like photos and files, and that I can backup some of my indo. I wanna save some stuff such as my minecraft files and downloads on it. So how do I put my files on it?(I have no knowledge on this stuff)And how do I put the info back into the computer, Because my dad is gonna reset the computer and then I'm gonna put my files back in.

PC BUILD: r9 270x or gtx 760

SoI'm building my gaming pc, gotta finish in a few days, looking if I should purchase r9 270x or gtx 760. A guy who's building it said that the r9 270x will be better because he will upgrade its software or whatever. Please answer thanks, and can they both run GTA 5, Battlefield, minecraft, COD

Minecraft seeds not working?

I double and triple check the seed I'm typing in. Most of the time it loads a completely different map without any of the promised villages or structures. But these seeds work for other people. As far as I can tell I can't find any specifications for the map that I need to change. Any ideas or suggestions?
For example I can't get MaudDib or Birtches. Both of which have multiple villages of which don't exist when I try it.

Why is my minecraft running slowly out of nowhere?

One day my minecraft was running just fine and I was getting around 60 fps, The next day the fps dropped to around 30-40 fps. I have now idea why, I just reinstalled windows a few weeks ago and there are no other intense programs running while I play minecraft.
