R9 270x requires 10 more Watts to operate: 170W vs 180W. The GTX has better memory bandwith, but the R9 270x has better pixel rate. However, the GTX 760 has better texel rate, which makes it better at anisotropic filtering. The price/performance ratio of the R9 270x is so much better. You should get the R9 270x because it is much cheaper and it does not make much of a difference because they have similar benchmarks.

As you can see if you look at that it really depends on the game some are more optimized for one card brand or another.
