I've been having problems with playing Minecraft version 1.12.2. Whenever I start up the game, it seems to work fine, but when I start a new world, it crashes on me and gives me weird errors. I tried reinstalling it, reinstalling Java, updating my graphics driver and nothing seems to work.

This is going to sound weird, but I just had a sudden urge to be nostalgic as I'm going into my school exams. There was this series on Minecraft around the time of late 2010 to early 2012. I didn't know how youtube worked back then and never made an account so I just remembered all of the people I liked by name, but there was this one that I forgot and never remembered and was wondering if anyone could help me out.
From my lacklustre memory, what I remember is that
- It was a male
- It was played in creative mode
- the whole preface for the series was that he was building a lab that had a whole bunch of stuff in it.
- the build from the outside was stone bricks
- it had a heap of episodes
- it was family friendly enough for 7-year-old me
- he was hella enthusiastic about it (i don't know if this is common or what…)
- the build itself was rather large
more vaguer points that you might want to take a look at
- In the distortion of my memory, I remember vaguely that it had an entrance/area to the front that was a minecart rail that led to the entrance
- he used Lapis as a sort
- there was a room where there was an observation deck over this area of fake terrain, further, I specifically remember him doing 360s off of the centre of the observation deck and yelling out "360"
- there were rooms for observation of mobs (little glass cages with one in each) and he pretended to use Lapis to see the effect on spiders or something.

Added (2). - sorry for the vagueness from before but the rail system was a fake that was no more than 150 block longish. It was just to replicate "going to work"
- i also remember there was an episode where his voice recording software broke and he said that unless we wanted to watch a video without audio, he wouldn't be showing it or something along those lines

So, I used to get 200+ FPS on minecraft, but then one day i tried to open it, and got an error code "The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000005). Click OK to close the application." I then uninstalled Minecraft, as it kept doing this, and reinstalled it, I then opened it, then I was getting 2-35 FPS. I uninstalled again, and got 100ish FPS, but the frames were very choppy and laggy, even though it was showing 100 FPS. I have tried playing CSGO, and other games, and still get 100+ FPS and no lag. Help?

So i have a minecraft account from years ago that i still play, do i need to buy a new account / game to play the microsoft version or can i link my old account to it, cause i really don't want to buy it again…
