This a very important thing that i need to know.
I'm developing a game by myself, it's not complete but it has taken me 2 years already.
All i have to say it's a game that kids WILL love. I have put so much time into this game.
So one my question is what made Microsoft Studios purchase Minecraft from Swedish Developer Notch.
What makes big time companies like that purchase video games?
I decided to go out exploring today and look for a village. It started to get dark so I whipped out my trusty map to point me in the direction of home and it's not working. The player marker is still on the spot where my home base is and is looking roughly north. No matter what direction I look and where I move to the item isn't responding. Kinda like it's frozen from before I left my base. Now I'm stranded in the middle of a frozen tundra with no idea where home is and no clue on how to make my map work again. Help me please.

As you can see, I'm staring at the sunset, in the middle of a snowy wasteland, but the marker doesn't show this.
Added (2). The problem has been fixed. I literally had to restart my entire computer and reload the game to fix the darn map. Here's what it looks like now for the curious: 
I've been using Fraps for a while to record Minecraft, Watch_Dogs, COD: BO2, Portal 2, and other games but I'm struggling to find a good software that can record CSGO with a decent fps. Even 30 fps would be fine as long as it doesn't spike.
I'm thinking about buying a laptop and I'm looking for a laptop that can run GTA V, Call Of Duty, DayZ, Minecraft, Tomb Raider and more.
Are there any laptops under $1000 that can run these games?
And please don't suggest buying a desktop or build one too.
I need list of games, i like games in which i can explore things, scary games, interesting for multiplayer… Any ideas guys?
Meaning that they really stand out on their own and no other game is similar to them at all.
