I'm having the worst summer ever. Any ideas? Please?

Okay, so… My girlfriend is gone for most of the summer, all my friends are off in distant lands. I can't get adobe after effects or Cinema 4D to work at all, minecraft isn't working. IT'S So HOT, We don't have air conditioning, the fans all are screwed up. We can't even go outside because my mom doesn't want us getting sunburn (sunscreen barely even helps) I'm stuck in my room trying to find out how to fix minecraft + cinema 4D + adobe after effects, but all the tutorials are freaking idiotic and only work with mac and windows, and I use Linux (debian) and it really sucks, also I can't find anything good on youtube or netflix. Any ideas of what else I could do?

2015 Macbook or Macbook pro 13?

Hey I'm going to buy a new laptop this year after a lg ultrabook failed me… The thing is I can't choose which one to buy. I'm a student who does light gaming (like minecraft) and some app developing, light video/photo editing, plus the usual documents and presentataion things. I won't be carrying it around that often, maybe just to and from school a few times a week. I thought the refreshed 2015 macbook pro is the best choice for me, since it has way better performance and more ports than the new macbook, but i'm worried that I'll regret buying it when the new macbook pro comes out with all the new features and a new design like the macbook, (like to new kayboard, the speakers, etc.) and I love getting new technology(and maybe boasting to my friends). But also I like my computer performing really fast, and I'm hearing that the macbook is really slow with the core M. So simply, its performance vs design, which do you think i shoud get?

+ do you think i'll be comfortable with a macbook pro on my lap in bed? I liked that about my lg ultrabook.

Fraps lags Minecraft after about 2 minutes?

So I've been recording Minecraft videos for about a month, just recording Sky Wars games to see if I can catch any good plays. But about 2 days ago, after about 2 minutes of recording my FPS drops to about 5-10. After I stop recording it goes back up to 50.

Check out my gaming PC build! Tell me what you think! Should I make any changes?

So I'm building a gaming pc and I've been doing research for the past 2 weeks. I have decided on all of my parts after many changes and I feel that this build is great. I was hoping for a bit cheaper, but I feel this build really is powerful. With this build i plan to play many steam games, such as CSGO, H1Z1, Minecraft, and many others. I also plan to edit and upload videos to youtube, as well as stream on twitch.tv. Please tell me what you think, be thorough, and let me know if this is ready to order! I plan to order all of my parts tonight, if not tomorrow by the latest. Here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XGFqMp Also, any tips for my building journey please let me know!

Computer gaming problems?

Ok, i recently purchased an ASUS "Gaming Computer".

System

Windows 8.1
ASUS Desktop PC G20AJ Series
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.30Hz
8.00GB (7.88GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Graphics card

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750

I've looked all over google to see if it was a good gaming pc. Now almost every game i play i can play on high graphics with little lag. I don't play taxing games like COD but i do play Minecraft. I'm having issues with lag. I displayed my Fps and i'm getting between 60 to 120. But my ram fills quickly. Sense i purchased the computer built i don't know how to check everything that can give me an idea of what might be causing the issue. Is it my GB? Is it my graphics cards? Can it be my monitor? I have a ASUS VT207 monitor. Everything is updated it took me like an hour to go threw my device manager and manually update. I do have a dual monitor my second monitor is older its HP w1907 Wide LCD Monitor. But i only use that for research while playing Minecraft or watching YouTube.

If anybody can help me figure this out it will be amazing.

Is there an alternative to RuneScape?

So somehow, after using a mining bot for 1 hour, and another 1 hour after a 12 hour break. I got banned permenantly from RuneScape.

And tbh I'm really happy that it happened, it just felt like a super extended period of playing minecraft on creative and flatland, placing millions of TNTs and lava buckets everywhere until I got bored and just quit. I was already highly leveled up on another MMO, but it was getting a bit boring so I wanted something different for a while. It was getting super addicting, but at the same time I wasn't getting any joy from playing it. And I felt like it was just gonna devour my life if I continued playing it.

So anyway, now I'm looking for something similar. I don't want anymore MMOs set in the medieval timeline, and at the same time having modern technology like pistols, floating vechicles, and other stuff (like CABAL). And nothing that forces me to do the same quest over and over again until I level up (any quests acutally). I basically want something as close to RuneScape as possible. And if it's also possible, not as restricted to membership as RuneScape is.

*and it has to be free, no monthly fee, and no one time purchase*

Thanks in advance.

Added (1). Something I forgot to add.

I want it to be set in the medieval timeline, just not have futuristic technology at the same time. And I want the level cap to be above 100.
