What's the point of Minecraft and should I play it?

Hi. I bought Minecraft for PS 3 a couple of years ago. At first I loved it, but I expected more. I though night would fall suddenly, that monsters would try to get inside your house and you would need to build secret passages and traps and things like that. But I was wrong and eventually it came to this: at daytime I quickly and routinely and boringly gather resources; at night I just stand in a hideout waiting for the night to end. As I spend the night in the house, I don't meet monsters at all; and when I build houses I can't really do much there. It's not Sims where you can watch TV or open a refrigerator. And it all became boring and meaningless. Now I consider buying a version for PS 4 and I wonder - do I miss something? Does the game change somehow with the time? Or do new more powerful monsters appear? If it was all about routinely chopping trees at daytime and standing in a hideout at night people wouldn't play it, would they? I mean, what's the point of it? People that like the game, how do they play, what do they do?

How to log in to my Minecraft account?

I know the username, email, and password but when I was younger, I put security questions on like what is your favorite movie, blah blah blah. I don't know what I wanted to be when I grew up or what my favorite movie was at 10 years old! I keep resetting my questions and I made a new account. I tried to transfer the account but it wanted the answers.

Does anyone have any suggestions for YouTube?

So I've been watching a mimecraft series called My Street by a youtuber called Aphmau. I sort of… Finished the whole series in one day and I really need some ideas of similar things I can watch on YouTube. Maybe something with seasons, or something funny lilke that. I basically want something with a good story line. Doesn't have to be Minecraft or anythimg, just something similar to this series.

I need some advice for a computer class in school?

So in my school, we have this computer class which starts off by students learning how to type using home row. The good thing is, I can type extremely well. The bad thing is, I don't use home row and therefore I will not do well in this class. You see, I've been typing since I was like, 8, on minecraft. I use a free handed typing method. That s pretty much where the right hand controls the right side of keyboard, and left side controls left side of keyboard. Simple. Now, the school wants me to forget all that skill, and learn some bogus home row method that is unnecessary to learn if I already know how to type. What should I do?
