Minecraft Slow To Make World On PC?

My computer is really good but loads worlds slower than my mom s terrible laptop. I need help to resolve this issue.

GTX 960 4GB
AMD FX-6300
G.Skill Ares 8GB 1600MHz

I would add more ram but I don't think you can with only 4GB. Buy a hard drive and look up a video on how to add more ram to your minecraft. That should help
