I operate on a Mac (Version 10.6.8) and I want to install resource packs and mods for Minecraft. I've looked up Wikis and tutorials, but for some reason, once I go through all the Finder/Library/Application Support/minecraft business, I can't seem to find anything marked "bin." I've looked through all the other files, and can't find anything called "minecraft.jar" either.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how I can get to minecraft.jar?
I need a new long lasting pc game preferably with online play, I've tried LoL, didn't like it. I don't want to play a moba. Games I've played enough of already include minecraft, Starcraft 2, Garry's mod, and swtor. I just need something fresh. Thanks guys suggest your fave game and tell me why.
I have 93 mods in my modpack and minecraft doesn't want to load those mods into a world for some reason.
I've been wanting to put up a YouTube channel for quite some time now, and I've finally done it! I've been looking of some mods to help make the game look better and i foun a mod to where it turns every pixel on your hat into a cube, not just a square. I was considering setting up a server with mods on it. My question is am I the only one that needs the mods, or do my friends need them as well?

I'm quite into the series Amy Lee does of 'Race To The Moon' and I want to do something similar, but not on YouTube just for my entertainment. Does anyone know the mod which is used? There's all these new bioms (don't know how to spell that) and you're able to go to the moon.

I have downloaded the minecraft not enough items. I have put the codechickencore and the nei folders in my mod folder. The mod opens up when I play minecraft but when I try to spawn an item (eg. Dirt) by either clicking on it or dragging it over into my inventory it will disappear. I have tried it on cheat, recipe, and utility mode and nothing changes. Also there are no save files on the left of the screen when I open nei.
