Trying to find a specific gun mod for Minecraft 1.7.9/1.7.10?

I often play GTA style Minecraft on a Multiplayer server called cracked survival HC which is part of the Dragoncraft Network. In it, they have… I don't know, a mod or maybe even a resource pack that reskins all the tools as weapons. For example, the Golden Axe is a Desert Eagle and Purple Dye is now Pistol Ammo. There's also something that makes minecarts into red, drivable cars that work much in the same way horses do and you can drive them anywhere, even if there isn't a rail to guide them. The server asks you to download a resource pack upon joining so thats why i think its more than just a mod, but I can't for the life of me find out what it is. If anyone knows, please tell me!

Realistic survival mods for Minecraft?

I've been modding lots of games recently, and I decided I'd try some of minecrafts mods out. Firstly, I was wondering if there are any survival overhauls or anything like that? It's pretty obvious that vanilla survival is barely survival at all. What i'm looking for are realistic needs, like hunger, thirst, sleep, disease, things like hypothermia, so you have to stop occasionally to build fires and rest up for the night because you're in a cold environment. Mods that generally make mobs more dangerous, and make you fear the night. Mixing that with other things like a mod that could allow me to build an airship and go on actual adventures? I've seen people playing the game before and they could sail around, on their airship and stop off in different places like pirate coves, magical towers and find all kinds of different villages owned by actual NPC's.

Can someone recommend a couple of mods that are like this? I would search myself, but it seems that there's barely anything related to harder survival. I know about millenaire, but I don't know what mod it was that added pirate coves and airships.

Also, while I'm here, I thought I'd say that if there's no hypothermia survival mod, I'd make one myself. Jeb already isolated heat and made it into an ingame feature but he never used it for anything, so I thought I'd try to use said heat to make a mod like that.

Beginners help for searching for Gaming PCs?

So, my birthday is coming around, and my dad has somewhat agreed to buying a new Gaming PC for me. It should be able to run games like Minecraft, Garry's Mod, and any other pretty computer-intense games at high FPS.

I'm new to Computer Building, so I don't know what kind of things are required. I would like a detailed list of what I need in a PC, the best websites to help me search, how to put it together, which parts should be the most high-end, etc.

Pre-built PCs are fine, I just prefer parts as it is always a couple hundred bucks cheaper. I have no idea how to put together a PC, so that might be a challenge.

Think beginner's Gaming PC.
Also, at least 2 monitors would be nice. You can recommend some keyboards and mouses, although that's not required.
