Is an HP Envy 15t a good gaming laptop?

I was looking for a gaming laptop from $700-$800 and I saw this on HP's website. I searched videos of this laptop in game but the HP Envy 15t-j000 kept coming up (HP's website said this laptop was an HP Envy 15t, so I'm not exactly sure if it's the same computer).

So, would this laptop run games such as minecraft and GTA 4 (with mods included)?

Added (1). Also, I searched this laptop's processor's GHz, and it said 2.50 GHz, but the minecraft minimum requirements says 2.6 GHz, so does that mean this can't run this computer? Thanks again, I really do appreciate all of your help.

Does anybody possibly know if the HP Pavilion 17-e117dx is a good gaming computer?

I'm looking to buy a laptop from $0-$800 and I happened to stubble upon this laptop (the HP Pavilion 17-e117dx).

I'm looking for a gaming laptop that won't have much lag and will smoothly run games like Minecraft, GTA 4 (LCPDFR Mod), and Garry's mod.

(I'm using the 1.6.4 Forge) When Minecraft loads it says 7 mods loaded, the 3 Forge mods, 2 TerrafirmaCraft mods, the ExtraFirma mod, and the Rei's minimap mod. But when I load a world Java crashes.

Why are there so many mods for minecraft that are only useful online when no server allows them?

For example you have the trap mod which would be really cool on a pvp server, but i don't need spikes to pop up from the ground for zombies when i can use and iron door and have a nap.

if you know of any servers that allow mods can you please link me i can't find any.

I've never really played Minecraft with a girl before and would like to. We would probably play on a larger mod pack that had more blocks biomes and build craft etc. I like when there's a lot to explore and do. I can also host the server and I'm just hoping to play on it casually with a few people maybe some guys and a girl or two i don't know.
