I did everything to get my mod (Too Many Items). I downloaded Java, Forge, and got the 1.8 TMI mod for Forge. When I opened my Minecraft with Forge enabled, the mod wasn't there. The.jar files should have a java icon, but instead has a notepad icon.
I know every time Minecraft updates optifine have to work on updating their mod so its compatible with the new update, but i looked at their page and comments asking for it to update for 1.9 is like febuary 29th and the update came out in march 22nd? I find it extreamly hard to play without shaders on my server, its so vaniila and boring, i don't want to wait months for it to update. Me and my friend are working on a machinima and we need shaders for it to look good. If anyone knows how long it takes for a mod to update thanks in regards.

Is there a mother currently exists to where you can create a teleporter that links you from one saved map to a completely different map you ve built? And if that s not yet possible how hard would it be to make a mod to where you could create said teleporter?
