Does anyone know any Really good Minecraft mods? Preferably for version 1.8 or 1.9 (my favorite versions)
Some mods I like are (so you know things I like):
Biomes o' Plenty
um… I forgot others that I like (sorry!)
but anyway, suggestions for great mods would be appreciated, as I prefer modded Minecraft towards Vanilla
I want my friend to join a modded server with me but she doesn't want to download mods due to the fear of getting viruses. I already have the mods on my computer so if I email her the mods, will she still get viruses even though I already downloaded them. All she would have to do is run forge and put the mods in her mods folder.
I'm having a problem with the Joypad mod. When I open Minecraft and switch the controls to the Xbox One controller, i'm able to move the cursor around with the joysticks but only when the mouse is active on the minecraft window. As soon as i click off the window, the controller cursor stops moving. Making it impossible to play split screen. Is there a fix for this?
So I really want to download the Mo Creatures, Biomes O Plenty and Mr Crayfish furniture mod on Minecraft, but the furniture and biomes mods were last updated for 1.11.2 and worse, Mo Creatures updated for 1.10! Some websites claim to have the latest versions but I don't really feel safe downloading them. Would the mods still work on 1.12 Minecraft?
As of last week, I have begun to have problems with Minecraft. It used to run perfectly fine, at crazy speeds with no hesitation. However, last week it just stopped. I open the launcher, and run the game, and it gets stuck on the Mojang screen. It stays there and when I click on it, it says, "Java(TM) Platform Se Binary has stopped working" and it gives me the option to kill the program or wait. However every so often, when the game does load, i will start up a wold and it gets frozen on the "Loading World" Screen and i have to use the task manager to exit out. This is extremely frustrating as I had no issues with it before hand. I downloaded optifine but got bored of it and removed it. I also got mods at one point but removed those as well. It still doesn't work no matter what I try. I uninstalled both minecraft and java, then reinstalled them. Nothing works. Please Help.
TLDR: Minecraft was working fine for a while and then it stopped completely one day. It gets stuck on the Loading World screen no matter what. I've tried everything I can think of. Nothing helped.

When I play Minecraft 1.11.2 with mods, and try to go into a world, it gets past the Loading World and Building Terrain screen, then crashes.

I have the shaders mod successfully installed, and I want to use the SEUS shader pack. For some reason, I load it but a bunch of bright colors cover up my screen. This is what I see: 
Other shader packs work fine with around 60 fps, but this one chooses to glitch out.

My mods won't appear in game. Well one mod won't, its the only mod I've put them in the mods folder and everything. And when I get in game and press mods there nothing there but the original "mods" The mod i've been trying to download is The Crafting Dead
Would it be used as "blood bricks", "red dwarf bricks", another form of nether wart brick? Whatever you think!
