I'm building a huge house, but monsters keep spawning in it. I don't have a roof yet, so the sun can get them but they rarely burn. Can I just turn them off somehow? Or is there a better way to get rid of them besides spending 20 min killing them all? I'm playing Xbox version, by the way.
My xbox 360 slim gave me a red ring but I don't believe that means the 4GB internal memory is damaged. I have another xbox 360 slim and I'm planning on swapping the internal memory units so that I can get some fallout and minecraft saves I lost that I've worked on for years. All help is appreciated
(Will zombie villagers spawn)? Is there any way to get them into the world if not possible?

I've been working on getting enough obsidian to create a huge Nether Portal in Minecraft (Xbox version). Its 9x9 right now (I shrunk it down trying to fix the problem). It won't light though. I have a 4x5 portal quite a ways away from it. Nothing is touching the portal but the ground so why won't it light?
I have Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. I love it and I'm trying to build something amazing, but the monsters spawning everywhere make it difficult. There's probably no way to turn off the monsters or maybe have it be day time the whole time, but if there's a way please tell me. It's very annoying and getting in the way.
I bought minecraft on my xbox when it first came out and the account i bought it on has long since been lost.
Recently the flash-drive that had minecraft on it became corrupt and i lost everything on it.
Knowing i couldn't re-download it on my new account i tried using my friends account because he had it purchased on his.
After re downloading it then going back to my account i realized it was only the trial version.
I then tried using my brothers account and i knew for a fact that he payed for the full version but i was faced with the same problem of only being able to play the trial on my own account
is there a solution for this or do i have to re buy it on my account?

I noticed when I go to my friends house his minecraft looks different from mine like he had a lot more items and stuff like that and I asked him how he did that and he said he got an update and I'm like I wonder why I didn't get one so I'm just really confused why I didn't and I really want the update so please help
